Electrical repair service near Plainfield, IL

I don't know why I chose Schaumburg Automedics to service my car when I first moved to Chicago 20+ years ago, but I am really glad I did. They have kept my various old cars running much longer than I would have expected. I was thinking about junking my car after this last service, but the SA Team did such a fantastic job the car drives better than when it was new (to me). I had several idiot lights on my dash and thought I had no ABS of VSA because the lights were on. The guys working on something else noticed some frayed wires along the firewall from some rodent or something. Now ALL the dashboard lights are off. They also fixed some extra things I didn't ask for and didn't notice till I got home. AAA Stands for quality service. AAA never hung a sign on a shop as good as Schaumburg Automedics. Alternator took a dump, found this mechanic shop in Plainfield, IL, near me, towed it in and bam got lucky left 3 hours later. This Plainfield auto repair shop is on top of their game. Thanks for getting me in and back on the road so quick and cost effectively.

I took my car in not knowing what to expect after my daughter had hit a curb hard and also noticing weird noises coming from my fairly newly bought used car. 59 Auto took it right in and fixed it very quickly and it didn't cost nearly as much as I had feared. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Hayes has been around since the 80's my parents took their cars to them and now I do. They are straight forward and fair. I am never worried about what is being repaired as they keep me well informed and aware what is needed and when.

First Choice should be your ONLY choice! I highly recommend these guys to ANYONE! Always professional, very knowledgeable and most importantly they take extra care to make sure the parts being replaced really NEED to be replaced! You never have to worry about them taking advantage of you wife, daughter, sister or friend; you can rely on their honesty and integrity; you will never be overcharged or have any unnecessary work done simply because they think ‘she’ does not know any better. These guys will take you back and show you what needs to be repaired/replaced and even dumb it down if need be. You are always given the option to buy your own parts elsewhere; new or used... or if it’s more convenient then you can trust them to get it for you... Your choice. Lastly, their customer service is A+! It’s all about even the smallest of details like the warm & welcoming family-like atmosphere and caring owners/staff that are willing to go that extra mile... I was once in a pinch and these guys picked me up and dropped me off which helped make a bad situation (a broken vehicle) a bit more bearable. Great service, very accomodating, trustworthy, on time and reasonable. The staff was very helpful and informative--It was a great experience and I plan to come back for each car service that I will need in the future!!!!

I have a 1992 Mercedes Benz 400E. It had been sitting a long time and was misfiring bad and the blower motor was not coming on. I already knew what was wrong when I took it to them but wanted to see what they would tell me. Talk about honest.......You will not find a more honest, reasonable, and reliable auto repair shop anywhere. They diagnosed and fixed the problems I had and the car has never run better. I highly recommend this place. Great Job guys!!

Meineke in Joliet is horrible now! The new "manager/owners" have taken over. The good mechanic is gone. I have been a long standing Meineke customer and when I called today to ask for my mechanic Mark, I was told he "Is no longer working here" (very rudely)! So I asked to speak to Vern and I was told he was busy and to call him later, also very rudely!!! I will find someone else to fix my cars from now on!
