Can we all just admit that it's hard to find a trustworthy, affordable car mechanic? M&M fits the bill for me. I finally found a place that does honest work at an affordable price. Oh, and they're friendly too! Imagine. affordable car care and world peace. What a combo. Jason always goes out of his way to explain your car's "situation" and what needs to be done. He also makes you feel comfortable and right at home.

Erick, shop supervisor, was easy to work with, his quote was realistic, he stayed on top of the job and kept me informed . . . what he estimated is what I paid . . . he's customer focused and desires to please.

I don't know why I chose Schaumburg Automedics to service my car when I first moved to Chicago 20+ years ago, but I am really glad I did. They have kept my various old cars running much longer than I would have expected. I was thinking about junking my car after this last service, but the SA Team did such a fantastic job the car drives better than when it was new (to me). I had several idiot lights on my dash and thought I had no ABS of VSA because the lights were on. The guys working on something else noticed some frayed wires along the firewall from some rodent or something. Now ALL the dashboard lights are off. They also fixed some extra things I didn't ask for and didn't notice till I got home. AAA Stands for quality service. AAA never hung a sign on a shop as good as Schaumburg Automedics. I went in for an oil change and once I got home I noticed my tire pressure was still low and none of the fluids were replenished. This didn’t particularly upset me, mistakes happen I completely understand. What upset me was that when I called back, I told Mike my situation and he responded “well how do you know they didn’t fill the air and fluid?” in a very sarcastic and demeaning manner. Obviously, if the tire pressure light is on and there is no windshield wiper fluid right after the service, they didn’t do it. As a younger woman who is unfamiliar with the ins and outs of cars, this left a bad taste in my mouth because I’m sure an older male familiar with vehicle maintenance wouldn’t have been treated like this. In addition, they automatically assumed I wanted to most expensive oil change. I never authorized this nor do I usually get the most expensive one. I used to be a repeat customer but at this point I’ve lost all trust in this business. Although, I will say that James is always very helpful with any and all questions I may have.

I just wanted to thanks these guys as a whole. I brought my SAAB in for an oil service. I spoke to the tall service manager. He was helpful and explained I had 3 open recalls on my SAAB then one is related to my seat belts. This is why I always like going back to the dealership to have my SAAB repairs completed. I failed the Illinois Emission Test. I took my Bentley to a performance shop to be repaired. They quoted me $3,927.00 to replace the catalytic converter. I call Bentley Gold Coast and spoke to the service manager and explained my situation. He said no problem that component is covered by a 8 year / 80,000 mile warranty. He sent a flat bed and picked up my Bentley and installed the catalytic converter - all done at no charge. I had my Bentley back in 2 days. I recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks for the professional and prompt service.

ATA Auto Services really helped me out in a tight spot this past week. My car overheated on the highway and so I took the nearest off ramp to the nearest parking space, and I was completely out of my element and very scared. I don't know anything about cars, and I was 400 miles away from home. I'm so glad ATA was the nearest auto service! Within walking distance of where I'd parked, I was offered an honest opinion, experienced help, a great price on a quick fix, and they threw in extra supplies to help me in case my car started to overheat again. I could not recommend this place more. They are just wonderful.

Hollywood has reasonable prices, plus the staff is super helpful. Joe and his guys do a great job of serving cars. Plus, they have a full auto parts store attached to the garage, so you know they're going to have a part when you need it. Not only is the staff super helpful but they are also quick and pay attention to detail. A winning combo. You can't go wrong with Hollywood Auto!

I have known the professionals at European Auto House for years (2004) after being referred to them through another trusted individual. I have found them to be the most straight forward and reliable mechanics that I have ever dealt with for any make of auto repair (foreign or domestic).

Great mechanics showed me all my before and after stuff, showed me my new parts and showed me pictures of when the intake was removed, very very clean mechanics as far as work ethics . Would not go anywhere else. Thanks you guys for being a blessing to me
