I needed new tires and my battery registered low. In checking prices around town for the same tire recommended New Concept had a lot more fees than other places. Therefore, I chose to go somewhere else. In regard to my battery, my car started, but there was some hesitancy. I decided to go to Advance auto to have it tested and replace it if necessary and found out the positive cable was slightly disconnected which was obvious. Advance auto tightened the cable, tested it and all is good. They even tested my alternator. The loose cable should have been recognized by New Concept. They also forgot to reset my oil button to 100%. I have had good service in the past, but this trip was disappointing.

Said some fees were necessary that the mechanic that fixed it said were never part of the equation. Wish I could give a negative rating
It took 7 months to diagnosis the issue with my crate 302 engine. By t... read more It took 7 months to diagnosis the issue with my crate 302 engine. By the time Doug found the problem, he charged me almost $7000 to find the problem and another $4000.00 to rebuild a $2900 crate engine. My grand total bill was $11,000 (no joke). The overall cost of the repair was not worth the engines value. During the diagnosis process, the communication was not good and I was constantly chasing after Doug for information.
