Auto repair service near Meriden, KS

Brought my car in to have 4 new tires mounted and an alignment done, without permission someone took my air breather box apart for no reason(My air filter is new) and didn't reinstall any of my breather box bolts which have special nuts that can't be replaced. I trust Jeff & Tony but I no longer trust anyone else in the shop.

BOUGHT A RUSTED OUT PILE OF JUNK. JONATHAN SAID IT HAD NO RUST. I TRANSPORTED IT TO CALIFORNIA ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT ITS SO UNSAFE TO DRIVE THAT IT CANT EVEN BE REGISTERED. STUCK WITH A TRUCK I CANT USE AND JONATHAN SAID THAT THEY NEVER LOSE IN COURT...

I have been working with 5th Gear for a long time. Enrique is always upfront and clear about what is needed to fix my car and he is patient enough to fully explain so that I understand why and how I have to fix whatever it is. He also works to try to find as many savings on parts as possible which is really helpful. One of the cheapest labor rates in town so far as I can find. Sometimes it can take a while to get a repair done but that is something that comes with pricing out parts for the best deal etc. Never had to take anything back so far! Overall, very trustworthy mechanic. A+ from me!

It took 7 months to diagnosis the issue with my crate 302 engine. By the time Doug found the problem, he charged me almost $7000 to find the problem and another $4000.00 to rebuild a $2900 crate engine. My grand total bill was $11,000 (no joke). The overall cost of the repair was not worth the engines value. During the diagnosis process, the communication was not good and I was constantly chasing after Doug for information.
