They will tell you that it is an old car and those gouges in your windshield trim is old damage that was already there. Fortunately I went next door to PickNPull and was able to buy matching trim from another car that was in excellent condition. I was lucky, you may not be, I will also have to get some trim sealer to seal the trim on the top of the windshield so water doesn't get down under the windshield and rust out the metal underneath. The workmanship is very shoddy.
