I brought my car in to get fixed and as I was explaining the issue to the mechanic his phone rang. While I was talking, without saying "excuse me I need to take this" or "can you hold on a minute" he picks up the phone and just walks away. After I waited for a couple of minutes thinking surely he is coming back , he never came back and never apologized. It was as though he wanted me to leave and that is exactly what I did. How unprofessional! On top of that when we got the car back from them it was worse than it was before! The owner said he would have someone look at it the next day and it was been three days and still have heard nothing! They don't communicate with you about the problems with your car and they pretend as though they did nothing wrong. I do not suggest this shop to anyone.

This is by far the worst repair shop I've ever been to. Their rates are higher than anyone around for work that is incomplete. When you bring your car there, expect to throw away money and still have to bring it to another shop for fixing. They'll misdiagnosis the issue, charge you for repairs not needed, and then say we've tried everything. Sorry but, no refund should be there slogan. You'll end up towing your car to another shop. Do not walk away from this hole in the wall, RUN!! Plus they are the most unfriendly people when ripping you off. They told my friend he needed a new head gasket. Was gonna charge him two weeks salary worth of work. He got a second opinion and it was an easy fix for under a hundred dollars. My experience was worse. Please take the warning or else!

I have been knowing of and using Diagnostic Auto Repair since the 1980s. Rikey and Paul have been and remain in business in Laplace for a simple reason. These guys know what they are doing and are the best I have found who explain the service or repairs you need and why and do the job right. Being a retired mechanic and auto collector and enthusiast all my life, I know. It is extremely hard for me to let anyone touch my vehicles as I used to do most of my own repairs and for my friends and family until I became disabled in 2006. But I would bring the jobs too big for me to handle to Diagnostic with confidence. Well since I have no choice now, I trust only one auto shop in the area. D.A.Repair as they are the most professional, first class repair shop in the Laplace area. They been doing it a long time and continue to offer very quick and quality repairs. I called when my truck wouldn't start and they were very helpful. They walked me through some troubleshooting steps I could try to get it running again. They even called back a couple hours later to check on my progress and give further guidance. I would highly recommend!!

I`m very satisfied! Got my transmission flush done here. Very reasonable rate and I got a bunch of bonus services for free. Very dedicated to excellence and very courteous.

They were extremely pushy. I did buy a car there and when the car needed repair they refused to fix it although it was still under their warranty!! They over price there cars and don't report things to carfax, in order to keep a clean record on the cars
