I have a 1967 NADA 109 Land Rover. I brought it into J. Whites Automotive to have general service done along with a brake job. They did an outstanding job on my Land Rover,. The service was so top notch that I got to tell you about it. In the past few years she has been showing her age in the way she been running. I use to have her picked up once a year on a flat bed and she was trucked up to VT for maintenance. I was going to put her up for sale after 20 plus years. Here is what happened: J Whites went through entire vehicle. The 109 now runs like it did in 1967! It never skips a beat; the steering is awesome with no play in the wheel. You can take your hand off the wheel and it now stops on a dime straight even time. J. White has got this rover running so good that I am keeping it and when I take it out I leave my AAA card at home. I highly recommend J Whites Automotive.

The owner has been servicing my car for about 15 years. Unless it was an absolute emergency and he was unavailable, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. He does a great and conscientious job, on time, for a reasonable price, and more than once has saved me significant money. As an example, I recently took my car to the dealer to have a malfunctioning (and wide-open) window repaired. (This is a case where it was an emergency and he wasn't available!) The repair cost hundreds of dollars. 5 weeks later the repair failed, and the dealer told me their repair didn't fail; it was actually a NEW issue that would cost me another big pile of money to fix. No thanks, I said and headed to S&W. Turns out the problem was a loose connection, an easy fix. S&W saved me $400! Fixed a couple of issues with my tranny, 2001 Pontiac Grand AM. My biggest take away was just how nice they were. I never felt like I was being taken advantage and they stayed within their quote even though labor was 5+ hours more than the estimate . If you need work done just call them!! Any work Auto repair too!

Hurd they towed a shit ton of people saying they were a illegally parked I'm not sure about there actual auto services but seems kinda scummy and untrustworthy to me..wouldn't be the type of people I'd like having my vehicle.

Rick over there at JnS is the MAN! I purchased my car from carmax and when I called to get warranty work done they referred me to J N S(glad they did). Brought my car down there with a ton of issues. Rick made the process as easy as possible. The guy honestly went out of his way to get my business. 1- Rick called my warranty company for me 2- He scheduled me a rental car that was covered by my warranty 3- Warranty company's are always a pain in the ass but Rick called em did all the leg work got them to pay without having me wait long. 4- I ended up paying less that what my original deductible was! 5- probably my favorite part of my experience was when I picked up my car it was WAXED AND DETAILED! Like I said these guys went above and beyond for my car. Thank you Rick. P.s if you have carmax extended warranty just skip the middle man and call rick they'll charge the same deductible, give you a better warranty that carmax does on their work 3year/36k! Jose C. Wilder Brothers Tire is the most honest and reliable car shop that I have ever encountered. I have been there three times in the last year with mine and the wife's car having been quoted prices of $300-$6000 by Lexus and another repair shop. In each case Wilders inspected the cars and either fixed the minor problems for $100 or free, but most importantly, their honesty saved us from being ripped off by others.
