He does a great and conscientious job, on time, for a reasonable price, and more than once has saved me significant money. As an example, I recently took my car to the dealer to have a malfunctioning (and wide-open) window repaired. (This is a case where it was an emergency and he wasn't available!) The repair cost hundreds of dollars. 5 weeks later the repair failed, and the dealer told me their repair didn't fail; it was actually a NEW issue that would cost me another big pile of money to fix. No thanks, I said and headed to S&W. Turns out the problem was a loose connection, an easy fix. S&W saved me $400! My keys and phone were locked in the car so I couldn’t call AAA. I was at Star market on Mt. auburn street, walking distance from Vahe’s garage. They were very busy, but he sent his assistant to help me. After 15 minutes, we couldn’t get the door unlocked. Then Vahe came out himself and spent more time until he got the door open. He was so kind, and competent, then he wouldn’t let me pay.

We started going there over 2 years ago, was very happy we found a good mechanic shop, then this winter, 2015..brought mt car in for a oil change and had a few fees that I had never seen before..and they advised me I need my tires rotated (but the were done in September 2014 and I don't drive much...about 7,000 miles a year so I was a little disappointed...then my husband brought his vehicle in for an oil change and he was NOT charge any additional fees...and no recommendations on service and he drives his vehicle everyday. Disappointed and hope this was just a misstep in service.
