I was in desperate need of 4 GOOD condition tires. Gary sold me 4 bad tires after I asked about the state of the tires and expressing that I drive 80+ miles daily so they need to be GOOD (and I have kids!). I waited for over an hour just to get them changed. One week later I go to another auto shop for an oil change and I'm told "you're gonna fail inspection 2-3 threads on each tire will fail inspection." I spent $180 on crap bull tires and waited over an hour just for them to install.......I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! NOR DO I OR WILL I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE I KNOW. If you want to be lied to and pay for poor quality GO THERE! They don't even deserve the one star ...

I was planning to go on a business trip to NY and had a couple of issues with my 10 year old (but reliable) car. My sister suggested American Brake in Stoughton, where she takes her car. Tony and staff was not only friendly and extremely professional but great and fast service. My car was ready for the long drive and I felt more secure behind the wheel after they did the repair and performed their "Pre-trip Check Up"

I just had the clutch repaired on my 1974 MG Midget at Ron's transmission. He took the time to figure out the exact problem, ordered the correct parts and fixed the issue without a full clutch rebuild/replace. I was thrilled with his expert analysis of the situation to repair my car without pulling the engine, which would have been an expensive procedure. Ron and Paula provided quality service at a reasonable price, and I would certainly return.

This facility will let you think that they can inspect your car. They are not licensed by the state of Rhode Island to inspect cars. They are however able to inspect trucks over 8500lbs. So if you need an inspection sticker nd you go to Wayne's this is what will happen to you. They will find problems with your car and tell you that it needs to be repaired, will overcharge you and even replace parts that were good to begin with. They will then take your car to another facility to have it inspected. If he is so honest and good why can't he be a Rhode Island state inspection facility for autos.

The customer service is excellent, the mechanics are very knowledgeable and honest. They initially told me that there was nothing wrong, they called me later on after they had done their homework and said that they had figured out what the problem was, they also told me that if I had any other issues to bring it back to them in a heartbeat.

The prices for parts and labor are transparent and reasonable, quotes for work are on target, my car functions beautifully, and I have consistently felt extremely well treated by everyone in this shop. theCARS Company, as mentioned by other reviewers, deserves 5 star ratings across all boards. Service is extremely quick (usually takes a couple hours for normal maintenance; few minutes for an oil change) and fairly priced. They have appointments open constantly and 'reservations' are easy to make. In terms of quality, I have been in there twice--once because my 'check engine' light lit up and the other for the 45,000 mile routine maintenance--and the results couldn't have been better. Problems are discovered quickly and solutions are provided even faster. What sets theCARS Company apart from any other car shop I've been to is their customer care. Point in case: recommending a cheap buff-and-polish job for the many bumps and scratches on my car as opposed to an extremely expensive paint job. Need another example? They offer discounts and coupons constantly. They don't hide them from you. In fact, make sure to politely ask if they have any available and they will respond honestly. Believe me, they've got your back and they're looking to protect your wallet. They seem genuinely interested in your best interest and not on making a quick buck. Very professional, well-organized, and reasonable prices: what else could you ask for?
