Just purchased a used car on 5/6/19 from Bob Celati dealer/owner/mecha... read more Just purchased a used car on 5/6/19 from Bob Celati dealer/owner/mechanic of Central Automotive.Under the terms of Bob's Purchase Agreement the vehicle is covered by "30 day Express Warranty" provided by dealer and "Implied Warranty of Merchantability and fitness" provided by the state to protect buyers of used vehicles from defects that impair the safety and use of a vehicle.During the warranty period I was having a problem with my power steering a problem that would be considered a defect that impairs the safety of a vehicle. Under The Massachusetts used car Warranty Law that was displayed in the vehicle at the time of purchase the dealer is required by law to fix the problem or issue a refund. Bob acknowledged that there was a problem with the steering. He tried to diagnos and fix the problem but was unable to.So he offered a refund/ buy-back I accepted. Bob said he would only honor the buy-back under one condition that I agreed to sign a "Confidentiality Agreement" I have since tried to contact Bob in an attempt to resolve problem.He refuses to respond. I've tried by phone and mail. Now my only recourse is to contact the Attorney Generals Office Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation under The used car Warranty Law a consumer can request a state certified arbitrator to decide the case.

My family and I've been going to Hub Starters for over 20 years. They ... read more My family and I've been going to Hub Starters for over 20 years. They have always been up front and honest with estimates and repairs needed. I've gradually moved about an hour north of their location so over the tears I've gone to other shops and gotten estimates to see if other shops closer to me compare and every time I'm shocked at the estimates given and then just bring my vehicles to Hub and have them repair them saying nothing about the other estimates. They always are well under the other prices sometimes by hundreds of dollars! And the biggest reason I continue to bring my vehicles to Hub is I know my car is repaired right and safe for my family to drive in. Thank you Hub Starters!
