Just purchased a used car on 5/6/19 from Bob Celati dealer/owner/mechanic of Central Automotive.Under the terms of Bob's Purchase Agreement the vehicle is covered by "30 day Express Warranty" provided by dealer and "Implied Warranty of Merchantability and fitness" provided by the state to protect buyers of used vehicles from defects that impair the safety and use of a vehicle.During the warranty period I was having a problem with my power steering a problem that would be considered a defect that impairs the safety of a vehicle. Under The Massachusetts used car Warranty Law that was displayed in the vehicle at the time of purchase the dealer is required by law to fix the problem or issue a refund. Bob acknowledged that there was a problem with the steering. He tried to diagnos and fix the problem but was unable to.So he offered a refund/ buy-back I accepted. Bob said he would only honor the buy-back under one condition that I agreed to sign a "Confidentiality Agreement" I have since tried to contact Bob in an attempt to resolve problem.He refuses to respond. I've tried by phone and mail. Now my only recourse is to contact the Attorney Generals Office Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation under The used car Warranty Law a consumer can request a state certified arbitrator to decide the case.

A+ service, and i'll be staying her for all my wheel/suspension work. I ordered a set of winter tires from Tire Rack and Fahey came highly recommended on their site as well as here. I hit the shop with my winter rims to get them installed today and they found two cracks in two rims. I had been having trouble with one last year but thought it was the old tire. Fahey is sending the rims out and expects to get me back in next week. No charge for the hour of their time it took to help me out.

I own a BMW 328Xi and was looking for a guy who doesn't rip me off but is knowledgeable about the European cars. Mechanic Advisor suggested Nicks which is right off the exit 32 on I93. Nick was very sensible and had given me the best estimate I could get. Even though I was keen on getting other things fixed, Nick suggested that they were in decent shape for now. That is the best quality about Nick. He will only fix what is needed and doesn't not rip you off with sky high estimates. If you have a European car, then this is your guy. Period! Thanks Nick, Abhi

I went in for diagnostic work regarding my gas mileage, they did full diagnostic and found nothing wrong and spoke with me extensively about it. They didn't charge me for the work, they were fantastic, pleasant, knowledgeable, personable, this was a 5 star car service, I will be going back again and again.

Thanks Guys! My Subaru had been given a diagnosis of "about to die" by a Boston local dealership. My friends had been telling me about Jimmy and his staff for years so I brought it over and gave him the estimate and list of repairs from the dealer. Sadly for my car he corroborated that most of what they said was true. What Jimmy did tell me though was that it wasn't all going to happen that day or the next. I decided to have the brakes fixed and then the oil pan. My Dad was a mechanic. I could tell that Jimmy was telling me the truth. He runs his place just like my Dad did. Today I used their auto repair shop for service on my car. My stepdad typically does all my mechanical work on my car but, he has since moved to another state so I need to fen for myself. I called Nissan and was quoted $289 for an oil change, tire rotation, oil filter and general check up. I printed out the maintenance sheet for the milage on my car and gave it to the mechanic at Woodside, who had also called Nissan to verify the service requirements for my mileage. When I picked up my car and saw the invoice for $76 I was ecstatic. They fulfilled all the checkpoints on the maintenance sheet from Nissan for a third of the price. Amazing small business service and customer service. Keep the small businesses around and it works out for everyone.
