I went in for diagnostic work regarding my gas mileage, they did full diagnostic and found nothing wrong and spoke with me extensively about it. They didn't charge me for the work, they were fantastic, pleasant, knowledgeable, personable, this was a 5 star car service, I will be going back again and again.

First and foremost, as an oncology nurse I want to say that I would like and hope to be treated and cared for in the same way I take care of others. WAR Automotive made me feel that way. It was freezing cold on MLK weekend. My Explorer had no heat and smoking/vapor fumes on way home from work on rt 93--I felt like the character Pig Pen on Charlie Brown. I was in despair. I met Will incidentally and true to his words: I think I know what's wrong and I think we can fix it...and that they did!

New tires and alignment

LOVE this shop! Started taking my car to Today's auto body for details and cosmetic maintenance a while back, then began visiting the shop for oil changes. Now I take my Audi there for everything. Long block engine

I go to WAR automotive at least once a month to get something done. My first visit was actually for my blown engine. I got quotes from a few different mechanics and I went with Will. I'm glad I did, I don't know much about cars but i can tell he's a perfectionist who takes pride in his work. I've never had a quote from him that struck me as too expensive, and I've never felt robbed in any way. He has been straight forward about every question, telling me wether i don't need to get something done or I'll need to get something done soon. Great mechanic!

Diag/head gasket

My car didnt start and I was told I needed an engine for $3000. I didnt believe it. the car would just crank and crank. I was told about Will and had the car towed to him. He diagnosed it and replaced the head gasket. the car has been fine for 2.5 months and drives great. Its great to have a mechanic that will actually find and fix and issue rather than just charging more and over repairing the vehicle. Thx again Will.

Brakes

I was referred to Will over at WAR Auto for some work. The shop is very nice and the waiting area is comfortable. Bring a sweater if its cold out tho. It can get chilly with the door getting opened. The service is great, the work was done well and the price was very fair. Great value for the work and services.

Audi Repair

I came across of WAR automotive out of convenient location, and although I have since moved, I still do everything at WAR. For my Audi, there is nobody more qualified to perform the services than WAR. Customer Service: I like the fact that I can text, and call, schedule last minute for minor things such as a broken light switch. Expertise: Will, the owner/mechanic takes pride in his knowledge of parts, and vehicle operation. His knowledge base is in German cars, and he can be show-off at times, but is truly a expert, knows how to research the exact fine details, never guesses. Quality of Work: High attention to detail, and a willingness to avoid shortcuts in favor of proper techniques. Whereas I have seen some mechanic muscle through a tough nut, Will apply loosening agent, wipe, and take off grime to properly disassemble. Price: No question here, just get quotes and compare. Best price around.
