These guys are top notch and are trustworthy. They always go above and beyond. With all the horror stories you hear about other mechanics, it is refreshing to have such honest and courteous mechanics right in our backyard. Brandon and his crew have been servicing my wife's car for the past year and a half and it's been an awesome experience. Do yourself and your car a favor and check them out. You will not regret it. -Samuel

Terrible. Took my 99 Isuzu there because the exhaust system had loosened up and needed welding. Got talked into replacing the transmission pressure sensor as well to get rid of the error code. After work was done, the car would idle high and it started shifting hard, also the TPS error was still coming up. I took it back and asked them to fix it. A disgruntled mechanic told me he looked at it and couldn't do anything because the problem was electrical. Took the car to a friends relative who's a trustworthy mechanic. He informed me that they had installed the wrong TPS, which didn't align properly, and they had wired it wrong. It would go to about a 30% throttle at start up, then the voltage would actually decrease as you applied the gas pedal (it's supposed to gradually increase). Now it's been about 2 months, the exhaust weld has completely come undone and my car is loud again. The work they do here is horrible and I have no doubt they cut whatever corners they can. Do not take your car here it is a rip-off. Here are some more bad reviews: http://baltimore.citysearch.com/profile/603358552/cockeysville_md/meineke_car_care_center.html

Went there on Oct 16, 2015 for a simple oil change, have already filed with the BBB, car was running fine, told me I needed a qt of transmission fluid, I said fine, the minute I left the car began bucking, that was a Friday, please also note I am a female, on Saturday really didn't drive much as my son took me to PA in his car but when I did in the early am still the same problem, bucking and not shifting appropriately. On Sunday took the car to Walmart, much worse, it actually shut off, check engine light came on, cruise control light came on, had to turn off car, wait, gingerly start back up and ease my way back home. I called my mechanic. He came over. Let's start with the fact that I was 1 1/2 quarts low on oil (2 days after an oil change) and my transmission fluid was bone dry), he put 2 1/2 quarts of transmission fluid in, told me to go to work the next day have the guys pull it in the shop and hook it up to see if it throws any codes and then go over it with a fine tooth comb. See what Charm City didn't know is that I really hate to bother my mechanics for an oil change so I go there, but I've been working with mechanics for 16 years, so they pulled my car in the shop went over it and still had to add another quart of transmission fluid. My certified mechanics have told me that either charm city pulled the transmission plug and drained the tranny fluid or they used a fluid evacuator, when I confronted the owner who took offense to my language and really who wouldn't be pissed, he could have blown up my transmission..he lied, he said a fluid evacuator takes an hours...sorry bud....5 to 8 minutes....his mechanic lied and said he put 6 quarts of oil in my car...first off...why would you put 6 quarts when you only need to put 5 and you didn't put 5...liar...I don't care that you've been in business for 26 years, you saw a female coming in who never uses you for service and you thought you could get some service work from me, so you drained my tranny fluid and then had the gall to ask why I didn't come back, because you are untrustworthy, BEWARE ONE AND ALL. I have 2 certified mechanics that will testify to my story. This place needs to be investigated!!!!

RUN!!!!!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! * REAL CUSTOMER REVIEW * Don't be tricked by the good reviews on this website like I was. I won't try to convince you that they are bad; I will just tell you what happened, and let you the consumer decide. I brought my car into the shop to have some oil leaks sealed. I thought that the price was amazing, and hey what's the worst that could happen? The FIRST TIME I came to pick it up my car, it had been turned from a smooth ride into a lawnmower (metaphorically speaking). I was devastated because the shops owner had told me how great their star mechanic was. I was also confused because earlier that day the owner called, and told me the car was ready. I'm no expert mechanic but anyone who thought this car was ready should have their license revoked. The car rumbled, shook, and shifted funny. Please keep in my mind none of these things happened before this shop touched it. I called the manager who said that they would take another look at it. I was so upset because my car was ruined. I left the car with them, and prayed that the car would be better the next time. The SECOND TIME I came up there the car didn't raddle anymore but now my steering wheel was loose, and shook from side to side. I don't have to tell you how dangerous driving with a broken steering wheel is. I called the manager and insisted that the steering wheel be fixed because why should I have to deal with that if I didn't do it. The following morning I checked under the car and noticed that after $900.00 ($876.00 to be exact) I still had a leak under my car (a puddle to be exact). I took the car in that day and left it with them. About a week and a half had passed by this time; and needless to say this was slowly turning into a nightmare because i was out of almost $900.00 and had no car. My daughter missed a week of school, and I had to drive my girl's car. The THIRD TIME they told me the car was finished

My vehicle has broken down 3 times since I had work done at this shop! They claimed to have fixed the problem yet I just returned from getting Antifreeze to fill my radiator after my lower hose popped off an hour away from home! Thank goodness I was around a mechanic who was kind enough to help me or I would have been up a creek! Stay away if you don't want the hassle. Very Dissatisfied!
