Horrible!! They took 30k to paint my 1967 Chevelle and help in the restoration - My life savings and lifelong dream, just recovering from cancer! I disassembled and then reassembled for them. The car paint is peeling and reacting; the emblems on each of the car are off - one emblem is 3 inches higher than the other. None of the body panels line up. The right side of the body sits on the frame, they destroyed the original hood, and welded emblem holes shut and then tried to re-drill them out and left a gaping hole under the emblem. I had them put new doors on and when they gutted the old ones and built the new ones, they put the old wing window seals back, when I had provided new ones that were opened and out of the bag when I got the car back. Car was towed back with no body bolts - car could have come off of the truck while being towed back to me, this has been a year ago and I still cannot get them to fix their MESS.. The whole car is ruined, was better and worth more before they started. The owner laughed at me when I asked for my money back. All that cost was only for paint and the labor. I handed it to them on a platter and got it back in a mess! Seeking legal action now!!! What a disaster, he took advantage! What’s worse is that I had even more problems pointed out to me from another shop who was installing the exhaust. So many problems from this shop and not enough room to write about them. And they laugh at me, have not tried to come get the car or even inspect the issues since August 2013!!! DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!! They will take advantage and ruin your dreams. And continually ask for more money while they have the vehicle, for other costs.

1.0 star rating 7/10/2019 I dropped my 1982 VW off at Hartloves in August 23,2017 to have John get the engine running (as it was not running for 7years)if he could and get it roadworthy. After many months he and crew got the car running and contacted me so I went to MVA got tags ,insurance in February 2019. When coming to pick up vehicle the mechanic said he had it on the road doing 80 mph and ran like a top but ran the gas tank empty and the new fuel injection system and filters had to be cleaned and repaired/replaced. i went to the facility and inquired as to why they didn't replace fuel tank,oil filter before road testing and was told by John that NOW the engine is smoking. I chalked up after $1,000 into this that lets just rebuild the engine at my expense,replace gas tank and sending unit April 15,2019.As of now July 10,2019 have tried to contact John to no avail. My wife and I went to his office July 10,2019 where his secretary could not contact him or give us any information as to parts ordered,where the engine is rebuilt,time frame,looking at vehicle engine is out no new gas tank installed at this time, car sitting outside same place. Jamie(the manager) took my BMW in and. while somewhat worried about servicing it at an independant shop,quickly put me at ease with his knowledge and experience with european cars. He fixed my worn out clutch and even repaired a nagging check engine light that the dealership couldn't fix after several tries! They are fair. honest and affordable...they have a customer for life!

Very disrespectful owner who is a "Know it All" type of guy. Would let me talk and hear what I'm saying but did not listen to anything at all. I was explaining my situation. told the man I have went to different shops, got estimates and told him what all four shops said and from my experience on cars this is the issue. He says "I'm not going to give no stupid estimate on anything over the phone. I said sir, just a rough estimate. He of course acted stubborn so I'm trying to give him money so I tried again this time saying, well, how about just putting a new engine in my car. He still said He's not giving a estimate in a disrespectful manner. I politely took my business away from him. His workers are very respectable but THE OWNER IS A Complete DOUCHE

I have been taking my Honda and Lexus to Freestate for over 3 years. They are helpful in letting me know what is wrong with my vehicle and what could wait until the next service. The prices are not as high as a dealer but also not as low as say a side lot garage. I do feel confident that they are doing a good job and trust their opinion.

I got my car towed here which I soon found out that it had overheated. Before this incident happened I never experienced my car to overheat. I asked them to diagnose my car and they told me the problem. I asked them once this problem was fixed would the car not overheat. Long story short I paid over $500 and it was not fixed, the car was worse!!! I drove from the lot and about two miles down the street antifreeze was literally leaking all over the road and the cat was smoking so bad I thought it was going to catch on fire. I took the car back 3 times and it never got fixed. I came in with it just overheating to the radiator now leaking and the problem not fixed. They would not find out the problem without me paying more money. If I would have known from the beginning there was a major issue I would have never wasted my money. I end up junking the car after replacing the radiator and still had a problem, then took it to n Dodge for them to do am diagnosis. All tune and lube completely got over on me and I talked with the service manner and the store manager. In even called the corporate number only to find out they were a franchise. I was beyond upset and disappointed because I trusted them. I will never go to another all tune and lube or recommend them to anyone!!! I had to junk my car at the end after having it for five years with no major issues!!!

These days it's hard to find a Mechanic/car repair shop that one can trust to do professional work and customer service. In June 2015 I bought my 2000 GMC SUV Jimmy to Mark Auto Service of Seat Pleasant, MD PROBLEM: engine misfire. hard to start in the morning. Told I needed a fuel pump COST: $500. Two days later, returned with same problem. 'Said' Zaatra (shop owner) now tell me I need to replace the fuel Injector. COST: $540. Return back in 2 days at the shop. Problem not fix. It's has cost me $1040.00 for two misdiagnosed's. I took it another auto repair facility...they were able to discover the problem and FIX IT. Turn out all I needed was a 'TUNE UP' (Spark plugs) MARK AUTO SERVICE refused to refund. As a CONSUMER...I cannot allow this shop owner Mark Auto Service get away without taking Legal Action.
