The price of the vehicle I purchased changed (increased $300.42 by his wife ) from the agreed upon original vehicle price I made with Mr. M--- after I signed and closed the bill of sale with him. This increase affected the amount financed. When I brought this matter to the attention of Salim (his wife) , she stated that the finance company was charging me the $300.42 for not paying cash and because they were financing the balance of the sell for me. I contacted the financial institution WL and the representative stated that their company does not charge such a fee. The finance company was concerned that bogus information was being given to customer. I immediate called the salesman and his wife. I left a message for the wife. I spoke to M---- who stated that this fee was the Ameri-Benz doc fee. I told him I had already been billed a doc fee of $29.00. He told me to contact his wife, who will not return my calls. I have been calling the salesman and his wife since 3/2/2016 (made my concern known on 3/1/16) to date. I have called the dealership twice to try to resolve this matter to obtain a refund for the erroneous fees she assessed me. I have placed 7 telephone calls collectively to the owner and to his wife (who prepared the loan papers) and to date neither of them will return my telephone call.

I went to the Citgo mechanic for a vehicle inspection so that I could register my car in MD. My first impression was very good - the staff were friendly, got me in quickly, and gave me an estimate for repairs (a new tie rod and malfunctioning blinker) that seemed reasonable for the area. After having the repairs done, however, I learned several things that led to additional work (at another mechanic) and more money out of my pocket. I cannot recommend this business to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic. Though the mechanic fixed my blinker (the relay was off, causing it to blink rapidly), it started malfunctioning again the next day. I had to go back so he could fix it again. Annoying, yes, but not a huge deal. My greatest concern had to do with the tie rod. After leaving the mechanic, I noticed that my steering wheel was crooked (when driving straight, the steering wheel was actually turned 45 degrees to the left). My tires would also squeal when making turns. When I called the mechanic to talk to him about the problem, he told me that he could not fix it. He said my car would need an alignment, and that he could not do that for me. This confused me, as an alignment was supposed to be one of the things checked on a vehicle inspection, and the mechanic had, in fact, indicated that my vehicle passed the alignment check. Moreover, it is common practice to do an alignment anytime a tie rod is replaced to make sure the wheels are straight (failing to do so can cause the car to pull to one side when driving and affect the angle of your tires, which leads to poor gas mileage and uneven wear on the treads). After prodding him further, it came to light that the mechanic actually did not have the equipment needed to do alignments. He did not tell me this at any point during the initial inspection or when making repairs. He reported that he did a "visual check" on the alignment when doing my inspection and simply marked it pass. When he replaced the tie rod, h

Bethesda Sunoco and the whole team, Ian, Don, Mike, Dominic are terrific. My friend had a car that did not pass emissions inspection. She took her car there and Dominic looked at the car and told her exactly what was wrong and what it would cost. She offered to pay him and he declined. I can see why they have such a high Washington Checkbook rating! Hard to find honest mechanics!

I purchased a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria on November 20, 2014. The vehicle had a few minor issues in a very short time after purchasing regardless of claims of being a good running and driving vehicle that was ready to go as well as being Maryland State inspected on October 27, 2014. The gas tank release button wouldn't work, no biggie, the drivers side door control panel was loose and popped up every time when driving it, ok. Next I realized that the horn wouldn't work (A safety inspection issue), and the windshield wipers weren't working properly (Also a safety inspection issue). Things got worse when I made the long commute home and the car started to make a shaking motion and start to lose horsepower as I'm getting off of the highway. Things got even worse the more that I drove it. I managed to make it to a mechanics shop and they diagnosed it with multiple engine error codes that they stated the dealership was probably aware of before selling but failed to disclose it along with a bunch of other major issues such as bad spark plugs, bad ignition coils, oil leaking into the spark plugs due to a possible cracked manifold. The fluids were far past the point where they were supposed to be changed. The seller stated that he was aware that the fluids. Some of these issues rendered the vehicle undrivable. I was told by the mechanic which works at an honest and reputable shop that I should take it back to where I bought it and get my money back ASAP because the amount of work that needs to be put in would far exceed that of the value of the car. I understand things happen but all of these issues certainly should not happen within the first few of hours of purchasing from a dealer that claimed to have had it Maryland inspected. To make matters worse, when I called the Manager, he stated that he had no intention of fixing the more serious repairs that actually affected the drivability of the vehicle. The manager was beyond rude and had 0 customer service skills and lacked a great deal of professionalism. The owner stated the same. To add insult to injury, I realized after the fact that they charged me at least 300.00 over the suggested kbb retail value. Stay far far away from this dealership at all cost unless you don't mind the headache of being sold a lemon. What a nightmare!

I just had my car inspected a few months ago, and the car passed inspection with fkying colors. I had some difficulty registering my out of state car, therefore, the certificate ran out. I took the car to this exxon for a new inspection and all of a sudden there are three issues with it. They immediately starting offering quotes to fix these "issues". Must have thought I was some easy mark from out of state. Besides being extremely rude, I believe they either damaged my car to make money, or made stuff up. I used to love going to this repair shop; the employees were knowledgeable and so friendly! They recently changed ownership and staff, but I thought I would give them a try since the location is so convenient, so I took my car in for a routine oil change. The mechanic gave me a list of about $1,400 worth of other issues he found—there was a leak in the oil pan (which I had noticed but thought it was minor) and the check engine light wouldn’t turn off (an issue that I told him the car dealership itself couldn’t fix and said wasn’t really a problem), among other things. I didn’t think anything was very urgent, but the district manager of the shop guaranteed the repairs for at least a year, so I told them to go ahead. One week later, the oil leak had gotten worse and the check engine light was back on. I tried to get in touch with the district manager, but after repeated calls and leaving my number at the desk, I still didn’t hear back. I took my car back to be repaired again. When I picked it up the second time, my car made a strange rattling noise when I accelerated. I went right back to the shop and the mechanic worked on it for half an hour and offered me a quick test drive to let me check if it was okay. I tried to ask what he thought had happened, he said we should make sure it was fixed, then he’d explain. So I drove around for about ten minutes and went back to get an explanation on what had happened, but I found that the mechanic and the cashier had locked up for the night and gone home. Weeks later, the leak still hasn’t been fixed and I have yet to hear back from the distract manager about his false promises. I have wasted entirely too much time and money at this shop. Nothing will convince me to return, and I recommend you save yourself the frustration and find another shop.

I have been taking my Honda and Lexus to Freestate for over 3 years. They are helpful in letting me know what is wrong with my vehicle and what could wait until the next service. The prices are not as high as a dealer but also not as low as say a side lot garage. I do feel confident that they are doing a good job and trust their opinion.
