I have been getting my car serviced here for years. Great service, honest to a flaw and you never have to worry about the quality of work.

I have taken my 02 Passat to them a couple of times for repairs and have received good service both over the phone and in person. The repairs I had done were done professionally and I was always happy with the work. Most recently I had to have them remove the factory stereo so I could remove sub woofer wires, as I was trading it in, and Charlie came out and took care of it for me at no cost. I understand that with the right tools it is an easy task but he still came out and did it with a smile on his face. If I find myself with another VW or any of the German cars I will definitely take it back to them as needed.

This is one of my favorite places in Lake Ridge. Today Adam helped prove why. He repaired my hopeless WHEELBARROW TIRE in less than 20 minutes! I am back in home yard business and Lake Ridge Auto has come through once again!!! Love this place!!! Mary N. Occoquan, VA

I received a birthday coupon for a discount oil change, I went on a sat to get it done, they told me that they only do coupon M-F I made a appooinment for the following Tuesday 8:30am I showed up when they saw that I had a coupon on my hand they told me that they didnt have any appoinment under any name for that time, the guy behind the counter didnt even bother to look it up instead he searched on a scratch paper and said nope I dont have your name here, then he told me that they only accept coupons on Wednesday, I think they send coupons at home to try to get you to come in, and hopefully get you to paid full price by telling you they dont take coupons that day you are in.

1.0 star rating 7/10/2019 I dropped my 1982 VW off at Hartloves in August 23,2017 to have John get the engine running (as it was not running for 7years)if he could and get it roadworthy. After many months he and crew got the car running and contacted me so I went to MVA got tags ,insurance in February 2019. When coming to pick up vehicle the mechanic said he had it on the road doing 80 mph and ran like a top but ran the gas tank empty and the new fuel injection system and filters had to be cleaned and repaired/replaced. i went to the facility and inquired as to why they didn't replace fuel tank,oil filter before road testing and was told by John that NOW the engine is smoking. I chalked up after $1,000 into this that lets just rebuild the engine at my expense,replace gas tank and sending unit April 15,2019.As of now July 10,2019 have tried to contact John to no avail. My wife and I went to his office July 10,2019 where his secretary could not contact him or give us any information as to parts ordered,where the engine is rebuilt,time frame,looking at vehicle engine is out no new gas tank installed at this time, car sitting outside same place. Go here expecting to get a simple job done, and next they you know they hit you with the " Oh there are Unicorns jumping around in your engine.. you should get that fixed today" I waited for almost 7 hours to get this "work" I went there for a "FREE" tire rotation next thing you know i'm out $500 because of "necessary" repairs. Oh yeah and if you want to know how long it will take.. just wait someone will tell you... WHEN you get up and ask them yourself. Very unprofessional and rude. I'd rather push my car home, then ever go there again!

This place was impressive! Clean shop, free coffee, wood floors!! They only charged me $899.45 for the rear main seal on my 2003 Lexus Rx300. The dealer had quoted me $1750! The owner, Jeff told me that he had been working for Lexus for 13 years, he even took care of my idle problem when he did the seal. I mentioned it to him and he knew exactly what it was. Love this place!! will be back
