I needed a new timing belt on my old Subaru. I called the expert mechanic at the marina, and the canniest lady with a buck I knew. I asked both where they would take a job like this. They both said "Jerry Hill!" with enthusiasm. So I did, and I've been enthusiastic ever since. Expertise and Honesty aren't always offered (especially to single women) by auto repair shops, but you can find both in abundance here. My husband and I are new to the area and we were looking for a new mechanic. Unfortunately, we needed to find one sooner rather than later when my car wouldn't start one morning. My husband called Antietam Auto because its .6 miles from our house. They gave us the number to a great tow company that they usually work with and I had my car towed there within the next day. By the end of the day, Justin had diagnosed that I needed a new starter and had ordered it right away. He had my car fixed and ready to go by 10am the next day! I was blown away by how fast he fixed my car and by the low price he charged me compared to other mechanics I have gone to. He even did a complementary 27 point inspection of my car which I thought was a very nice touch. I am BEYOND thrilled with my experience with Justin!! I told him I hope that I don't have to see him again for a while, but I know if I do that he will indeed take care of me. Thank you so much to Justin and his awesome crew! You all rock! Elana O'Hara

On February 3rd 2016, I went to Burrels Automotive in Dahlgren, VA with brand new parts stated above purchased. They in return said they would just charge labor. So as I went with all new parts, (Brake pads, rotors, and calipers for both sides) The technician did the entire side on the passenger side, and proceeded to do the drivers side, but did the rotors, and brake pads, and put the old caliper back on new equipment which gave the same noise with new pads that were eaten on the inner side of the caliper, but according to the, ""MASTER TECHNICIAN"" was able to save it?! Why save it when you had a new one in the trunk, and was instructed to put all new equipment on the car?!

I spent months/years dealing with them - it was not a good experience. Google reviews provides some interesting comments.
