I’ve used European Auto Body for my cars several times and have been more than pleased with the timeliness, the quality of work, and the price. This shop does excellent work and it’s obvious they take pride in what they do. Specifically, I refer to Mr. Linton Browne, who treats each car as if it’s his own, and who is one of the most customer-oriented technicians I’ve ever met. My most recent repair involved adjusting the position of the passenger-side front fender on my 2008 Corvette. The fender had shifted out of alignment—due to a long-ago previous repair from some other auto body shop—and was hanging up on the front edge of the door, preventing the door from opening. I stopped in one morning to make an appointment with Linton to bring in the car for repair. Linton literally dropped what he was doing, got out a few tools and, in less than ten minutes, he had adjusted the fender perfectly, thereby correcting a door-opening problem that had plagued me for quite some time. AND his price was exceptionally reasonable. Where else can you find service like that? I guess I don’t need to say where I’ll continue to bring my cars in the future!

Just awful unprofessional service. I have not been this regretful in a long time, especially after my best friend pleaded to me to take my car to the Toyota dealer. Anyway, this place jacks prices up due to the neighborhood (mostly wealthy to outright rich). My experience was a true price gouge, but since my car was already in the shop and I was 5 miles away, I agreed to let them do the work (totally my fault). But, I did asked the guy to pledge that the work would be done right. His response: "Always". Well that was a lie. Now my car is making all kinds of creepy sounds. The ride is still bumpy and the brake job makes odd noises when you stop. Save yourself a lot of headache and heed my warning. Run, don't walk, to another repair shop. This place is not a quality shop. They don't even bother responding to negative reviews, because there is too many. In the end, I blame myself. I took my car there and I approved the work. I got a bad deal and they did terrible work. (that part is on them) Please don't give them any of hard-earned dollars. Not worth it.

1.0 star rating 7/10/2019 I dropped my 1982 VW off at Hartloves in August 23,2017 to have John get the engine running (as it was not running for 7years)if he could and get it roadworthy. After many months he and crew got the car running and contacted me so I went to MVA got tags ,insurance in February 2019. When coming to pick up vehicle the mechanic said he had it on the road doing 80 mph and ran like a top but ran the gas tank empty and the new fuel injection system and filters had to be cleaned and repaired/replaced. i went to the facility and inquired as to why they didn't replace fuel tank,oil filter before road testing and was told by John that NOW the engine is smoking. I chalked up after $1,000 into this that lets just rebuild the engine at my expense,replace gas tank and sending unit April 15,2019.As of now July 10,2019 have tried to contact John to no avail. My wife and I went to his office July 10,2019 where his secretary could not contact him or give us any information as to parts ordered,where the engine is rebuilt,time frame,looking at vehicle engine is out no new gas tank installed at this time, car sitting outside same place. I can't say enough good things about J & F Motors. I became a customer in 2011 when the warranty on my 2004 BMW 545i ran out. I felt that I couldn't get good answers from BMW dealerships and every time I went in, I didn't feel comfortable with their answers and what I was paying for. From day one, J & F has exceeded my expectations with their level of customer service, taking the time to explain to me what has gone wrong, what needs to be repaired asap and what can wait. I am a fanatic when it comes to my car and they understand that. They are what an automotive repair shop should strive to model themselves after.

I can't say enough positive things about Ty Nguyen's Arlington Auto Shop. I lucked into it about eight years when I was again hit while parking on DC streets. Ty offers personal, reliable service with free estimates. Work is reasonably priced, done on time and is guaranteed. I have recommended his shop to several of my friends and they were equally pleased. My car is ten years old and looks new as Ty uses excellent products and does paint matching that restores my car to its original look. Try this shop once and you will be back.
