She took her car there and Dominic looked at the car and told her exactly what was wrong and what it would cost. She offered to pay him and he declined. I can see why they have such a high Washington Checkbook rating! Hard to find honest mechanics!

My husband and I are new to the area and we were looking for a new mechanic. Unfortunately, we needed to find one sooner rather than later when my car wouldn't start one morning. My husband called Antietam Auto because its .6 miles from our house. They gave us the number to a great tow company that they usually work with and I had my car towed there within the next day. By the end of the day, Justin had diagnosed that I needed a new starter and had ordered it right away. He had my car fixed and ready to go by 10am the next day! I was blown away by how fast he fixed my car and by the low price he charged me compared to other mechanics I have gone to. He even did a complementary 27 point inspection of my car which I thought was a very nice touch. I am BEYOND thrilled with my experience with Justin!! When we lived in the Beltsville area Lloyd's Automotive was the only place for years we trusted for our vehicles. The owner of Lloyd's is fair and honest. I have not found such a personal and trustworthy mechanic since we have moved out of the area. So if your looking for a good honest place to take your vehicles I highly recommend Lloyd's Automotive.

We have been using this company for years to service our trucks. The service has completely died. The owners are too old and too slow, they cannot produce estimates for weeks on end. They do not produce bills upon request, and during the wait time, they charge you storage fees upon work that isn't completed. Mark is a complete jerk, he treats customers as if they are dogs. I recommend bringing your business elsewhere. i for one will never return, and my fleet of 8 trucks will be serviced elsewhere.

I have been taking my vehicles to dog and garage for close to 30 years as of about 7 months ago they are under new ownership but the service is still just as great as ever. The new owner Ryan picked me up and we went up to the beltway to get my truck that had been wrecked He charged me a fraction of the price of the tow truck bandits that had been called by the police. Even helped get the truck into a tricky position since I have a driveway with a sharp curve and drop offs have to be watched out for. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment.

On February 3rd 2016, I went to Burrels Automotive in Dahlgren, VA with brand new parts stated above purchased. They in return said they would just charge labor. So as I went with all new parts, (Brake pads, rotors, and calipers for both sides) The technician did the entire side on the passenger side, and proceeded to do the drivers side, but did the rotors, and brake pads, and put the old caliper back on new equipment which gave the same noise with new pads that were eaten on the inner side of the caliper, but according to the, ""MASTER TECHNICIAN"" was able to save it?! Why save it when you had a new one in the trunk, and was instructed to put all new equipment on the car?!

I have had Prestige Auto fix several things on my 2007 VW Rabbit. It has been a great experience. I was having trouble with my brakes which were suddenly not working or not braking all of the time. During the winter and ice, it was difficult to know at first if I hit ice or it was the brakes. Hasi did a test drive with me, and he could sense the problem. The brakes were fixed. Then,after an oil change, he noticed the fan on my car was running really loudly. (Yes, I had heard it, but didn't realize it was a problem.) I brought the car back and he put in a new fan. I feel like this is the first time I have had a mechanic I can trust -- and who also knows cars and really wants to make sure everything is working well. I am very happy with the service and also to keep my car up to par. I know I'm driving a safe car and that makes me happy! TAllen
