We have over 50 years of experience in the automotive and truck repair field. My father also was an automotive instructor for a major technical school. We went to Roche Automotive after several of our close friends told us that they were the best in the area for diagnosing and repairing check engine lights. We had been to several other shops in the area and they said the problem was fixed, but the light would return after a couple of days. Brant and Jeff were both very helpful, explained everything very clearly and kept us informed through out the process. The bottom line is they found a small crack in a vacuum hose and repaired it, the light has been off for 3 months and we could not be happier. If we would have come here first, we would have saved over $1000 in unneeded repairs. Needless to say we will definitely be back and would recommend anyone looking for an honest and fair mechanic to try Roche Automotive.

Insp. on relatives car that shouldn't have passed inspect. because of bad brakes (but schwebach said brakes 75% good & passed inspect.), which could have been deadly if not corrected by another station. He also was to fix customer complaints (that didn't get fixed) but schwebach said were fixed & they were charged $289. Three months later customer took car to another State Insp. Station because complaints weren't fixed by schwebach & new ststion told her brakes are so bad can't drive car (the bad brakes was what was causing the complaints from owner). New station charged $400+ to fix the complaints owner was making which were bad brakes making the noises. Car wasn't driven enough to cause bad brakes in that amount of time, schwebach even admitted that brakes couldn't get that bad in 3 months for the small amount that the car was driven. Schwebach was asked to refund $289. charged for fixing complaint he didn't fix & for not fixing bad brakes when he should have seen them bad & he refused to refund any amount. Everything was fixed when taken to the other station & paid $400.+. $400.+ should not have had to been charged & paid for by owner @ the new station if schwebach would have fixed everything complained about by customer in the beginning. Owner is filing a Consumer Complaint w/ Attorney General's Office in Harrisburg & also the Pa. State Police took filed complaint & is investigating for inspecting a car that should not have passed inspection w/ obvious bad brakes (we have all documents to back up complaints on schwebach). He is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE person to deal w/ when taking this complaint to him to be resolved THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH & I worked in Customer Service for over 30 yrs. in Motor Vehicle Dept. in Harrisburg, so I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT W/ THIS PROBLEM, that's why we are filing everywhere we can to avoid another person having a problem like we had or having an accident because of schwebach's bad workmanship. He shouldn't be allowed to get away w/ extrememly bad work performance that could have horrific consequences.

Bart is the Best! I love the way he explains everything that I need to know about what's going on with my 745li. I would highly recommend Bart's Motor Works to anyone with a BMW....you will not be disappointed!

Tried to overcharge my wife for service, putting the lie to the "Service at about fair price" motto they use. Tried to charge her $350(water pump) + $200 for labor for a water pump which oem from Toyota is $165. Then when confronted they couldn't believe she had called Toyota. Then said she was 2 qts low and filled without asking with a brand of synthetic she doesn't use without consulting prior to doing so and then is trying to charge for it despite the fact she said to be notified before anything was done.

These guys are top notch and are trustworthy. They always go above and beyond. With all the horror stories you hear about other mechanics, it is refreshing to have such honest and courteous mechanics right in our backyard. Brandon and his crew have been servicing my wife's car for the past year and a half and it's been an awesome experience. Do yourself and your car a favor and check them out.
