Electrical repair service near Waterford, ME

Very disreputable business, in my experience. Refused to give me the VIR after my car failed inspection so I could see what needed to be repaired in order to pass. Mike stated to me that the state computers were down when I went in for the third time to pick up the VIR. I called the DMV right after leaving the shop and was informed that the computers were NOT down. They told me I needed to have certain things fixed before they could put a sticker on it, but found out after taking my car to another mechanic that they were trying to have parts replaced that didn't need replacing. They broke the knob that releases the hood and failed to tell me. I found out later that day when I took the car to another mechanic that it was missing. It had been there earlier that day because I'd had to have a new battery put in before I brought it to Autocare plus. I am filing a complaint with the DMV and with BBB. It seems, judging by a few of the reviews I've read, that I'm not the only one to have had this kind of bad experience with them. They advertise "honesty, reliability and good customer service" but they are everything BUT that!

BUYER BEWARE This is a warning to you who may be looking to buy a car from this used car dealer if you want to call it that. My advice DON’T the owner of this place is a CROOK. She claims to stand behind her cars. When that car breaks down after having it with in 48 hours. She will make you pay for the car to be towed to her place to be fixed. Oh and then when you don’t want the car well to bad for you,your stuck with the lemon. I gave this place $875 of MY money. Other good dealers said that, that’s no way any car dealer should treat anyone. Well there are two good things that came out of this. I don’t have the lemon any more and the 2nd if you feel like you got the same deal as me tell the bank that you don’t agree with the loan and they won’t approve the loan.
