I admit that I was a little skeptical at first about taking the route of a remanufactured motor over a new vehicle due to the poor service and broken promises that many service providers give today. However Larry you did right by us. Not only did we get 1 reman but we got 2 which saved us a lot of money as opposed to the route of brand new vehicles. I had a engine misfire and my oil was contaminated. Motech fixed my misfire and did a oil change for no extra charge. The service was excellent. The people were friendly and did excellent auto work. I have been going to guys for all kinds auto repairs for at least six years, I have also referred so many of my friends and family to them. To my greatest surprise and shock, I just found out that they are frauds, cheats and liars and have deceived my family and friends that I have over the years sent to them. I sent a vehicle to them for repair this month, Sam, one of the owners called me back and said it was going to cost $2200.00 parts and labor. I was taken aback at that quote. I would have agreed, but something in me this time said NO!. I went back the next day and picked up my car from them and gave it to another mechanic that I hardly knew. They charged me $900.00 with the same parts and labor including two brand new tires. Please be careful with these guys, they fooled me for years. Always seek for a second opinion. Worst experience ever. Got me in the door by saying "free diagnosis" then after the fact informed me that it would be $450.00. Found out later that the repairs had already been done to my car prior to my approval. The place is a TOTAL scam. When I finally got my car back (a week after they promised) it was in worse condition than when I took it in. I had to take it to a second place to have them fix the mistakes American Transmission made. Absolute biggest rip off ever. DO NOT GO THERE.
