I admit that I was a little skeptical at first about taking the route of a remanufactured motor over a new vehicle due to the poor service and broken promises that many service providers give today. However Larry you did right by us. Not only did we get 1 reman but we got 2 which saved us a lot of money as opposed to the route of brand new vehicles. I had a engine misfire and my oil was contaminated. Motech fixed my misfire and did a oil change for no extra charge. The service was excellent. The people were friendly and did excellent auto work. 15 day Poor follow up, car remained outside in the Michigan cold weather without ever bringing it in on a hoist. Called multiple times only to be told by Jeff they could not get to it. Was advised after the second day there I was next. After 15 days of back and forth we rented a car to see if possibly a Tech had been ill or something. But what we did know the shop could not service us to our expectations. After showing up Jeff the head mechanic finally agreed to give us an estimate that only repeated what we had said when we brought the car in i.e. the engine light and VSC light was on and there was dragging in 1 and 2nd gear. Cost $6500. Thank Goodness the car was still pretty drive able. It is not a hooptie. Got a 2nd opinion they researched it in 2 hours. repaired it, $402.
