I have been an auto mechanic for the past 40 years. My recent surgery prevented me from replacing a much needed CV joint axle, they quoted me the labor costs up front and accommodated me even on a busy Saturday.The CV axle I needed was impossible to find yet they took time off their busy schedule to check availability. They worked with me till the part was finally located. They may not be the largest newest repair shop in town but the personalized service and experience makes the difference. They are the most honest and approachable auto repair shop I have dealt with, their prices are very competitive and they won't try and sell you on unnecessary repairs. They are the only shop I trust when I am unable to complete the repairs myself. I recommend they highly.

I admit that I was a little skeptical at first about taking the route of a remanufactured motor over a new vehicle due to the poor service and broken promises that many service providers give today. However Larry you did right by us. Not only did we get 1 reman but we got 2 which saved us a lot of money as opposed to the route of brand new vehicles. I had a engine misfire and my oil was contaminated. Motech fixed my misfire and did a oil change for no extra charge. The service was excellent. The people were friendly and did excellent auto work. I have been going to guys for all kinds auto repairs for at least six years, I have also referred so many of my friends and family to them. To my greatest surprise and shock, I just found out that they are frauds, cheats and liars and have deceived my family and friends that I have over the years sent to them. I sent a vehicle to them for repair this month, Sam, one of the owners called me back and said it was going to cost $2200.00 parts and labor. I was taken aback at that quote. I would have agreed, but something in me this time said NO!. I went back the next day and picked up my car from them and gave it to another mechanic that I hardly knew. They charged me $900.00 with the same parts and labor including two brand new tires. Please be careful with these guys, they fooled me for years. Always seek for a second opinion. This review is for Auto Center of Canton which I presume is the new name for this shop. I drove my 2000 Volvo S80 to get it diagnosed because the engine kept missing even after new parts were replaced. This took place on October 16th of 2019 and all I've been getting about this problem is the runaround from a mechanic named Rich. Initially I was told that the engine may need to be replaced with a price tag of $2700.00. I went out to the shop to put half of the deposit for the engine and then was told that the engine was fine, but it was the engine control module that was in need of repairs. Instead of Rich contacting me of the status of the module, I've had to keep calling and then Rich never calls back when he says. It's been over a month of waiting and this is unacceptable as my wife needs to be cared for and taken to her oncologist for cancer treatments at U of M hospital. At this point and right now, I want my car back with the original module and my $500.00 since nothing but waste time has been done. I caution anyone considering this place for repairs as they are just monkeying around and wasting people's time and money.

This is the very best Auto Place to go to! I have been going for years and they have successfully serviced both of my vehicles.
