East Michigan Trailers Sales is a full trailer and truck equipment dealer offering new and used trailers, van bodies and platform bodies located in Detroit, Michigan. In addition, we stock a complete line of aftermarket parts and provide repairs on all makes of trailers and van bodies.
Our business started in 1945 as Pezzani & Reid Equipment Company, founded by Pete Pezzani, with extensive experience in trailer parts, and Emerson Reid, an engineer who designed specialty trailers. The company has long since been recognized as the innovator and designer of specialty trailers. The first 8-axle trailers were introduced to the Michigan market as a Pezzani & Reid Design/Specification. Since then the company has evolved into a full line trailer and truck equipment dealer serving southeastern Michigan and Northwest Ohio.
Our parts and service departments have over 50 years of experience. We carry a full line of trailer parts, providing same day delivery. Our service repair facility has fifteen skilled mechanics, specializing in all major repairs for flatbed, dump and van trailers as well as van bodies. That includes trailer suspensions and alignment, brakes, frames, body repairs (roof panels, side panels, floors, doors, liftgates), electrical, oil systems, wet lines, fenders and miscellaneous fabrications.
