I brought my car in for a brake job after a couple years of general negligence. I am just over 100k miles so it was no shock that they had many recommendations for additional repair other than brakes. They called before doing any work and explained in detail what was needed. I was able to decide what I wanted done and what I would like to postpone or do myself. When I advised what I would like them to skip doing, they didn't lecture me or question why I didn't want that particular service done. They were very patient. I felt that their prices were very fair. Much less expensive than chain shops. My total ended up being less than what was quoted as a particular job (replacing a seal) took less time than they had anticipated. Through personal experience, I know a lot of shops charge for the hours that is standard for a particular job regardless of the hours it ends up taking. I almost expect it at this point and was shocked that they were honest about the hours worked. I tend to avoid car repairs due to the fear of getting ripped off and generally dealing with poor business practices that are common with car repairs. I was so pleasantly surprised that this is not at all the case at Action Auto. I will absolutely be back and will likely take better care of my car because I feel comfortable with the staff and the business. Claire Byerly

Be very careful when dealing with this shop. I was given a fair estimate for replacing my brake pads and rotors. Later that day they called and informed me that my calipers did not work properly and the amount they wanted for the repairs sky rocketed, The bill more then doubled their first estimate. After being told of this, I told them I was going to come pick up my vehicle and they tried to convince me it was unsafe to be on the road and my safety was at risk. After dealing with all this a brought my vehicle to another shop and found out they had damaged my front caliper and attempted to pass this off as existing problem instead of damage caused by them. I would not trust this shop with my vehicle again.

Absolutely awful service. We had to go back because they didn't fix it the first time and they said they would not fix the automatic roll down because they weren't sure if it did that originally. The staff was condescending and rude--I will never go back!

David Brink, Owner, is truly a stand up guy. He gave a fair and thorough evaluation of all my cars needs, rated order of importance and told me all prices ahead of time. I highly recommend him and his business to all my friends. We need this kind of full service auto service in Hopkins.

Job took 2 separate times after the first time they didn't fix properly. $3600 later here I sit. With a vehicle I am not sure is going to work. Also Chris is AWFUL to work with. Slow lies and is very rude. AVOID IF POSSIBLE

Tim built a custom dual exhaust for my BMW. It is by far one of the best systems that I have seen. Tim now does all my automotive service work.

I had royal tire in Monticello repair 2 trailer tire for my boat. Without the trailer ever moving one inch, both tires went flat. I took the tires back to Royal tire in Monticello and all they gave me where excuses why its not there problem. Very politely told me " that's the way it is". Royal tire offered zero assistance. I was told "you should have got new tires and rims". Really, couldn't have told me that before you took my money. Do not have any tire work done at Royal tire, they will gladly take your money but will not stand behind their work.

The alternator on my wife’s van went out right before the weekend. She had plans to go out of town for the weekend but if I could not get her van fixed we would only have one vehicle. I call Bee Line Friday morning dropped it off at 12 and it was done by 3 for the price that I was quoted. Thanks Bee line for fixing the van so my wife could keep her weekend plans!

I have purchased 3 rebuilt cars from Jas at 1 Stop Auto. The first was a 2004 Civic for my daughter. Never any issues and still in service with her husband driving it now. The car was an excellent buy. So much so that I planned on coming back for a newer model minivan when my Chrysler wore out. My wife's corolla died first and we replaced it with a 2006 Corolla rebuilt by Jas. We have had that for several years now with flawless performance. Jas worked with me for several months to find exactly the car I wanted. He found and rebuilt a 2006 Sienna for me a few years ago and I have been driving problem free since.
