Dodge service near Blaine, MN

I took my college students car to Lake Elmo repair for an oil change and a headlight being out. I told the tech that the headlamp was brand new (and retested in the other headlamp) and that the problem had to be in the wiring harness. The total charge was $165. It appears they simply replugged the light in. My student told me 2 days later the “oil change” alert was still on and that the headlight was out (again). I had him take the car back to Lake Elmo Repair and they told him he would need to bring it back with an appointment. I don’t think it is fair to expect us to have to come back according to their schedule when the problem was the poor workmanship of Lake Elmo Repair. I figured the convenience of this shop would be worth it - but it’s not. I’m going back to Myron’s

Was told we needed new filters when TGK just changed them at our last visit. To top it off the car was dropped off at 7am and didn’t get worked on till late afternoon. Then told to pick up at 5:30 pm and had to wait 30 minutes for the vehicle. Come on this place can do better customer service.

Front brake job requested (pads and rotors). Immediately noticed new knocking type noise over bumps in front right tire following repair. Take tire off, there are NO caliper bolts (should be 2, there are none). Only thing holding the caliper from flying off was the tire rim. Very dangerous and very unsettling that this is the quality of workmanship and apparently no test drive was done. I was a loyal customer.

I've had my 2 vehicles over the past 6 years at The Professional Garage and they have done just an excellent job. They have always charged me less to have my vehicles done. Over all, you guys do only what is truly needed to be done, and I always use them for any and all of my regular repairs on my vehicles. You guys do this Inver Grove Heights location ‘proud’. Larry K
