Jeep service near Forest Lake, MN

I took my college students car to Lake Elmo repair for an oil change and a headlight being out. I told the tech that the headlamp was brand new (and retested in the other headlamp) and that the problem had to be in the wiring harness. The total charge was $165. It appears they simply replugged the light in. My student told me 2 days later the “oil change” alert was still on and that the headlight was out (again). I had him take the car back to Lake Elmo Repair and they told him he would need to bring it back with an appointment. I don’t think it is fair to expect us to have to come back according to their schedule when the problem was the poor workmanship of Lake Elmo Repair. I figured the convenience of this shop would be worth it - but it’s not. I’m going back to Myron’s

Did the diagnostic on Friday morning at 7:30am 9/22 and never received the estimate to get repairs. It took the entire day to get the car back and still no idea on how much it will cost. Called yesterday and asked for the estimate, said they emailed it. That didn't happen. Would be nice to know what the price would be for repairs!

I asked them the check out my brakes because they were squeaking and to see if they can figure out why my car sounds rough when it runs. The technicians were honest that the brake pads did not need replacement as they were just rusty. The transmission flush has made a positive difference with the way my car runs and shifts. They charged me $1,600 for a new radiator that took them only minutes to install! Their prices are way too high.
