I am so very thankful to have found Mr. Meixner and his exceptional crew of expert mechanics! In the last four years I have had to bring my truck into their shop for repairs three different times. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and the speed and efficiency with which the jobs are completed is astounding. The job has always been done correctly the first time. My only regret is that I have waited so long to express my gratitude in writing. If you are looking for honest and dependable work, look no further. I agree with Gene. In my case I drive a diesel Sprinter, very hard to get good service on to begin with because it is all German. I live in Montana too. I was referred to Westport Autohouse by a friend whose personal experience was very similar to the other review. So I called and made an appointment. The owner - Mike- insisted that because he had to order parts I should plan on leaving it overnight. I told him - Ok but- I had to be finished by 4 PM on Thursday since i had to be in another part of the state for business on Friday. The initial estimate was fine and was accurate to what needed to be done according to my research on the problems and the symptoms. The final bill came in a bit higher but they had completed all the repairs, the van drove smoothly and perfectly for the first time in months !! I am elated. I had been in a Mercedes Benz dealership earlier to get the same things done and they wanted over $2,000 more and most of that was for the wrong stuff anyway. I highly recommend Westport Autohouse and plan to use them every time I need a repair in the future. Tim B.

Amazing customer service! I was given a breakdown of services I would need ..they even offered discounts. They were really honest and answered all of my questions. Also given their opinion on which services I should prioritize since I wasn't able to pay for all of the services that day. 100000% would recommend to everyone. I came in with a huge radiator failure and John and the guys here definitely gave me the best service and deal on the rates. They're going to be my permanent auto shop home for a while!!

I have been going here for nearly 10 years now. Mike has always been honest, up front and fair. He lets me know what needs to be done right away, what doesn't need to be done now but will need to be done eventually, and what doesn't need to be done but that I might consider. He knows my financial situation and bases his suggestions around that. I can't recommend him strongly enough. Even though I no longer live in the Tower Grove area, I've kept him as my primary mechanic for nearly all my car needs.

These guys advertised a front bumper on their website for a Mercedes which they didn't have. They took the payment of $887.86 and have not supplied the part or returned the money. I would advise not to deal with them and find another supplier.

THEY HAVE THE WORST SERVICE EVER. THEY SUCK YOU IN WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ONLY REALIZE THEY CHARGE SO MUCH FOR DOING EASY REPAIRS. THEY ARE A RIP OFF, IF ANYTHING THE CONDITIONS OF YOUR CAR WILL GET WORST AND THEY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR IT. SINCE THEY PROVIDED ME POOR SERVICES, THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO REIMBURSEMENT ME A DIFFERENCE; BUT NEVER DID. THE MAIN MANAGER INDICATED HE WOULD SEND IT VIA MAIL, BUT IT NEVER GOT TO ME. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING YOUR CAR SERVICED THERE, IT WILL COST YOU ARMS AND LEGS. AND DON'T FORGET YOUR CAR WILL STILL BE RUNNING POORLY. STRAIGHT RIP OFF....

I took my car in to have work done on the motor they kept the car for over 2 weeks did not fix the problem and messed up the transmission when they pulled the motor .I would never give this place a thought.

Watch these guys! They aren't as nice as they come off to be! I once took my vehicle in for an oil change, and they told me that my Manifold was cracked and needed replaced. They wanted over $300. I went to have it done somewhere else cheaper, and found out that there was NOT a crack in my manifold! The bracket that holds the muffler on my truck broke. Instead of them properly fixing it, they instead used a piece of wire to hold it up and charged me $85. A week later the wire broke, and THEN they actually got the replacement bracket for it, and still charged me another $50. Please note, I did not know that they just used wire the first time! That was a very expensive wire! IF you need an oil change, and inspection is fine, but I would go elsewhere for anything else. They seem to be too interested in drinking the beer in the back than doing their job properly. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
