Westport Autohouse is a family owned and operated auto service center serving the St. Louis Metropolitan Area since 1996. We have earned our place in the Bosch AutoCare program so even though we are an independent our work is warrantied nationwide. Our staff of continually trained service advisers and technicians is genuinely passionate about solving your auto repair issues and providing service and maintenance that exceeds all expectations.
Our ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certified Technicians are skilled on all levels, from basic automotive maintenance such as an oil service, tire service, fluid services and regular maintenance to the most complex car diagnostic and repair issues like brake repair, suspension, drivability issues, emissions, electrical and transmission repair.

Mercedes Mechanic
I agree with Gene. In my case I drive a diesel Sprinter, very hard to get good service on to begin with because it is all German. I live in Montana too. I was referred to Westport Autohouse by a friend whose personal experience was very similar to the other review. So I called and made an appointment. The owner - Mike- insisted that because he had to order parts I should plan on leaving it overnight. I told him - Ok but- I had to be finished by 4 PM on Thursday since i had to be in another part of the state for business on Friday. The initial estimate was fine and was accurate to what needed to be done according to my research on the problems and the symptoms. The final bill came in a bit higher but they had completed all the repairs, the van drove smoothly and perfectly for the first time in months !! I am elated. I had been in a Mercedes Benz dealership earlier to get the same things done and they wanted over $2,000 more and most of that was for the wrong stuff anyway. I highly recommend Westport Autohouse and plan to use them every time I need a repair in the future. Tim B.

Honest Mechanic
This place is great. Michael (the owner) really knows his stuff and does great work. These guys are honest and will only do the repairs that need doing. After taking my car to Midas and getting a $1,100 estimate, I took it here and was told that the work that needed doing was only about $350 and that the rest was superfluous. Absolutely Phenomenal
The Team at Westport Autohouse, led by Mike and Lana Pelts, are absolutely phenomenal! They have serviced all of my vehicles since 2005 and I have had only great experiences. They do exceptional work and their prices are much less than the major dealers. I highly recommend this team of experts. I have been taking my vehicles to Mike Pelts and his team for the past 10 years. I have always been pleased with the service and price that I have received from Westport Autohouse. 3 BMW's, 1 Mercedes, 1 Lexus, 1 Crossfire, and a Sebring later, I am still extremely satisfied with the precision and care that the team gives to my vehicles. They service them right and they service them quick. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to try Mike Pelts and his team out...I promise you'll be permanent customers like me.
