These guys rock! Took the time to explain my front end repair. Even took me to the vehicle to show me. I trust them completely. It feels good that I can take my vehicle to a place that's not out to take me.

My 2006 VW Passat had been losing oil consistently for 2 years now. Many trips to the Dealership and I was told this was normal oil consumption . Not convinced I found Autos of Europe and explained the situation to the Service Manager. He seemed very knowledgeable of my situation and convinced me to bring the vehicle in for a second opinion telling me they run into this all the time. Brought my car in on Monday and had a diagnosis the same day, yes, the same day. I informed them I had an extended warranty and they worked with my warranty company to have the turbocharger replaced and the PCV system repaired, the warranty covered all the repairs. 2 years at the dealer with no result, never again.

They did the repairs.

I had my oil changed the night before a trip to chicago for a funeral. This includes a fluid topoff. About halfway to chicago it started to snow and the roads got sloppy. It was also extremely cold. When a truck went by and threw up road slush I hit my wipers and washers. Nothing came out of the washers! There were some dribbles that froze on the hood instantly, but that was all! I was completely blind and was lucky not to be in a serious accident. We stopped at a gas station as soon as possible to put something else in the washer reservoir only to discover that whatever Dobbs had put in was frozen solid. We had to put 1/2 cup amounts in at a time, which necessitated several stops, turning a 7 hr trip into an 8 1/2 hour trip. When I called Dobbs to complain the manager said he would look into it and call me back. That was four days ago and not a peep from them. They obviously put in a seriously over-diluted version of the washer fluid. I'm sure it saves them money, but if someone ever is in an accident because of their negligence and sues them, it could turn out to be a false savings.

Remembering back to the day Don opened. It is because of his great service that he has allowed his business to grow and become a pillar of the community. It is truly hard to find service shops like his that care about their work and stand by it without overcharging and finding things that don't really need "a fixin". I had Schiele replace a motor in my 65 F100. I provided the used motor to replace the existing one. I was very happy with the result. The mechanic's name was Aaron. As an example of how conscientious he was, he put a little oil in the cylinders and cranked it before actually trying to start it. This was probably a very good idea since the motor hadn't been run in a while. Aaron was willing to explain anything he was doing and didn't seem to mind that I came around often during the work.
