These people replaced my daughters engine total cost $1400.00. A week later we had to take it back because of a bad oil leak. It was the main rear seal. $20 part but $350 in labor because they had to drop the engine again. I asked why they wouldn't automatically replace a $20 seal in a 2002 engine while the engine was dropped and their response was well it's under warranty so you can file a claim with the person you bought the engine from to get reimbursed. So I did and guess what?? Claim denied because they said replacing the main rear seal when replacing an engine is considered routine maintenance and should've been checked and replaced at the time of the engine replacement.

Listen to everyone with a negative experience with this shop! Avoid it at all costs! The only positive reviews I’ve found seem to be close friends of the owner. Real good ol’ boy shop. Very friendly until they get your car. After that, good luck getting it back in any reasonable amount of time or getting ANY customer service. Very rude owner and mechanics. Will work on your car at their leisure with no care to how long it takes. Will not return your calls. If you do manage to actually catch the owner or a mechanic they are annoyed to even talk to you. If you try and get an estimate of time you get a blow off answer of “a couple more days”. Then another week goes by with no calls or work done. Get your estimate in writing as well! They don’t seem to want off the street customers. My story. I took my car in for a blown head gasket from an overheat which was my fault. They told me it would take a couple of days. It sat in front of the shop for five days before they even took it in the shop. I asked that they check for a cracked block before they tore into the engine. They ignored me. I had to insist they check the bearings. When they relented they found they were shot. When they got it back to together they couldn’t get it to run. They pulled it apart again and found the rings were seized to the pistons. They made a big deal on how they had to tear the engine down again acted like they were doing me a giant favor for fixing a problem they missed. After three weeks of call backs I finally got me car back. They never could tell me what caused the over heat in the first place. Two weeks later car overheated within 30 seconds and blew a head gasket. I took it back and they tried to refuse their warranty and blame it all on me. After several weeks the owner told me he was working on it whenever he had “spare time” since warranty work didn’t make him any money! After a total six weeks from the second blown headgasket it still was not re

$150 to repeat what I told them the problem was. $800 higher than the next highest estimate. $1,300 more than the lowest. Very cordial if you don't mind paying a small fortune for "customer service".

When I first came to new concept I thought they were good. So when something major went on with my car I came back to new concept. It turns out that I needed a new engine which cost me $12,000. Since I got the new engine I was still experiencing the same problem that led me to get the engine. About every thousand miles my oil light was coming on and I had to add oil to my car. Took it back to new concept and the gentleman said that it was the oil pan that was leaking or something like that. So they repaired that. That was another along with some other things I had done. $4,000. The problem persisted. When I brought it back the next week the shop Foreman said oh the gentleman that did the work did not top it off? We'll top it off and you'll be fine. The next week. The oil light was back on again. I spent the next 4 weeks coming back to new concept so they could research where this oil was coming from and more importantly where it was going. On the 4th trip in they told me that my turbo was leaking into my exhaust and that's what was doing it and that was going to cost me another $4,000. At this I have lost all trust in them, so I took it to the Audi dealership. The Audi dealership measured the oil could not find any leaks. Not in my turbo or anything. It took a couple of trips to the dealership for them to measure consumption and try to figure out what the problem was. They did and they told me it was the pistons. Which the pistons are the engine. So now I need to take it back to new concept to see if they will honor their warranty for the $12,000 engine that are put in or not. I do not have any faith in there shop Foreman to get the job done correctly. It seems as though he is just trying to push me off so he can get on to the next thing. I have sent the information from Audi to New Concept so now we'll see if they honor the warranty and fix the problem.
