Oil change service near Apex, NC

Went for an oil change, they claimed my Power Steering fluid was leaking and needed a 325 dollar repair. I had it checked out at my own mechanic and he said there was no leak and that someone poured some type of fluid on the pipe to probably make it look wet. 0$ repair needed. Escaped another lying mechanic shop trying to take advantage of people. WIll never go back there.

Awful. They refused to honor a competitor's coupon (like their webite stated they ould) for $10. They said I needed items that I definately did not need. Very unprofessional. I will never go there again!!!

Took car in for oil change. Driving out car stalled in highway and check engine light came on. Went back and let them know exactly what happened. "This couldnt be us sir. Just bad timing." Never had any car issue of any kind. Dealer removed the peice of leave they got stuck in my throttle for $200 when jiffy lube was taking out my filters to show me and let me know that in their opinion they should be replaced. I will going to better business bureau, small claims court and posting email to distribution list for 10000 employee company I work for to make sure EVERYONE knows how happy I am with this level of service. Everyone can make a mistake but for Pep boys to NOT BOTHER TO CHECK when I returned with the vehicle is beyond comprehension.

Our daughter is a student at NCSU and her car would not start ... We thought we would try a mobile mechanic instead of dealing with towing and repair at dealer. My daughter said they were extremely nice and replaced starter for less than estimate. Would highly recommend !!

One of the last real Service Stations in the world. They will actually pump your gas! Even if you're filling up with the less expensive self-service gas they offer to check your oil and tires. My check engine light came on in my 2006 Kia Spectra. I had the codes looked at, and I was told that I needed to take my vehicle to a transmission expert. I took my vehicle to Affordable Transmission and Auto Repair on Capital Blvd in Raleigh. My car was repaired that week at a much less price than anticipated. I just want to thank Eddie for a job well done and for his honesty. If you are looking for honest and reliable mechanic I recommend that this is the place to bring your vehicle.

These guys are about money, they will lie to get you to buy parts at any cost. I advise you to be careful in trusting to give you a truthful analysis of your automobile. They are not to be trusted.

First time customer - I took my Chrysler 300 in for brake noise and was told I needed new calipers, rotors and fluid. They seemed nice, and told me I also needed new lug nuts because the last garage had put them on too tight. After $1,100 I picked up the car after hours and it still made wheel noise, only this time a bump bump bump sound. I had to take the car out of town the next day. While in VA I stopped for gas and to check out the increased noise. The tire was loose. I had the car towed to a different garage and they told me the lug nuts had not been tightened and the brake line was not properly connected. I called A&J to explain and sent them a copy of the invoice with photos from the other shop. The person on the phone said he'd let the owner know. Since then (one week) I've reached out and have heard nothing. No discussion, no offer to help, no apology. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
