This place is your classic scam shop. Not a horrible place to shop or get parts for the DIY guy, BUT do not let them work on your ride!! I normally do all my own work but in this case I was going to be out of town for work. So against my better judgement, I took my sons 2014 Yamaha in for service before the 2016 racing season began. While the service was provided in a timely manner. This shop pulled the ol' fix this but break that so they have to bring the bike back scam. Again the service was provided, but upon pick up I get the "you had some spokes lose line". Of course they tightened them! Two rides later we had spokes breaking like banjo strings! And no these we not hard rides just trail rides(my sons only 12). So I call Cycle Connection, "my shop guys know better than to over tighten spokes" was the reply I got. I explained that my son had a race in a week and that I felt since they made a mistake they should fix the bike. I even told the owner that I would pay for the spokes, but that it had to be done by the upcoming weekend. I could go on and on, but to shorten the story up. I had to have the bike picked up. After it was dropped off, Cycle Connection waited until "I" called them to inform me that the bike wasnt going to be ready. Now Im paying three times the price for a spoke kit due to the overnight charges, and I will fix the bike myself(like I should have to start with). In summary, if your a DIY guy and need parts this is not a bad place. If you need work done, LOOK ELSE WHERE! Im only writing this review because I know that there is allot of people out there who enjoy riding, but do not/ or can not work on their own rides. Trust me, since this has happened Ive researched Cycle Connection, and the majority of reviews and people Ive talked with all say the same thing. SCAM SHOP!!!

I purchased a Jinlun Ninja 250cc street bike from this company. The first problem was with the title. The original sales slip had a VIN on it that was different than the bike we actually picked up. After ordering a new title, it had too many digits, and I couldn't register the bike. I called them and they had to order yet another title. When the title issue was finally squared away, we noticed that the brand new battery was dead. We called them, and they mailed a shipping label to return the old battery, although I had to argue with them to get them to cooperate. While waiting for the replacement battery, we purchased a brand new battery from Batteries Plus. After starting the bike, it "freaked out" and started jerking and almost threw my son off of it. It switched into 1st gear without anyone even shifting the gears. The back wheel kept spinning and the entire bike kept jerking. We called the store and they just kept giving us the run around. We live in Wake Forest, NC and purchased this bike from Winston Salem, NC and the last thing we want to do is drive back and forth for this "brand new" bike. We finally found another shop here locally that was familiar with this company, and they didn't have very nice things to say about the company or the bikes they sale. Instead of driving back and forth to Winston Salem, we will just pay someone here locally to fix the bike. I will NOT do business with this company again. I understand that things break, but we purchased this bike 2 weeks ago, and haven't received any service from it because of all the problems. This is crazy. After the bike had what appeared to be a seizure, gas started pouring out of the bike, and it killed the brand new battery. The owner also told me at the time of purchase that he would make serving the bike easy so that we don't have to travel back and forth, but that was just a lie. I don't like it when people lie to get my money, and then just turn their back on me. RK
