Failed my 2003 Tahoe for, as the inspector stated, and I quote......."the vehicle must hold forward and backwards". OK? Maybe so......but how did you perform this test when all you did is drive forward into the stall and then the vehicle was on level ground? NOWHERE on the NC DMV website does it say that the vehicle must hold forwards and backwards. Even if it did, you did not perform the test properly. People will do anything to generate a dollar. I HAD been going here for quite some time. That just changed. (c) The operating mechanism, when fully applied, fails to hold the brakes in the applied position without manual effort. (d) When emergency or handbrakes are applied they fail to hold vehicle.
