Where to start, Scott said he could put a muffler in for me, then wouldn't return my phone calls for 5 days. Finally he tells me to meet him at his shop at 10 am. He doesn't show up until noon. Only to look at the shop and say. Oh theta a car in the way I can't do it today. Lousy service pathetic excuse of a mechanic!

My wife took my truck in (I had out of state tags at the time) to repair the exhaust system. I had no other problems. The mechanic went on about how much my truck was "a piece of junk. Offer to sell us a car he had fixed up. When I got my truck back, I no have difficulty starting it, there is exhuast coming out from under the cab of the truck and I now have a leak in my transmission. None of this was happening BEFORE I took it in. This guy is either crooked or incompetent. I wont give him a second chance to prove to me which one it is.

I picked up a Jeep 4.0 engine from them, engine has ran perfect. When i installed the engine i followed their advice and replaced the radiator, thermo, water pump, up and lower rad. hose, pressure checked coolant system, and used lucas oil stabalizer, and primed the engine. Man the jeep has more power now, use less fuel, and is way more dependable. Poteats Engine Rebuilding is a great shop with great employees.
