I told them it was more than just the window motor as all of the windows would not work at times. The appraisal to fix the motor was $500+ which is an unbelievable number for a $120 part. Also, after I looked into the problem, I found that there was a broken wire which provided a fault for the windows. This lead to a realization that the window motor wasn’t faulty at all and Matt’s was going to charge me for a problem that wasn’t even there. I understand the need to make money to run a business but after my recent experience with Matt’s it has left me with a great distaste for them as a repair shop. It was nothing short of a horrible experience that cost my almost $200 and still bot fixed, however the quote to fix was almost $2,000. I went else where and for $220 it was diagnosed A D fixed. I feel I should get at least half my $200 back from Matt's. It was misdiagnosed and what you wanted to replace was 10 times more expensive than the real problem. Shameful business practices.
I needed a new radiator. They quoted me at 1100.00. I asked for a prin... read more I needed a new radiator. They quoted me at 1100.00. I asked for a printout. The radiator they wanted to change 800 for and also added breaks, disks pads and a transmission oil change that I didn't ask them to do which added up to the extra 300 to do. They didn't even fill it up with coolant when I picked it up. I took it to another place who charged me only 500 with the radiator and repair and had my car fixed the same day. I will not use Matt's auto repair ever again.
