I want to preface my review by saying that the techs are very talented and I deeply appreciate the work they specifically did. I also would like to say Jake is an incredibly nice individual who does the best he can with what he is given, and unfortunately his colleague does not share the same sentiment. Rico lied about every facet of the job. From price, to estimated time, to simply what they would actually be able to do for me. He also made it very clear he did not respect my input and opinions even though I am the owner of the vehicle; I have my own opinion as to why he felt that way as well. INCREDIBLY upsetting experience considering my family is return customers of Zaks (I personally will not be returning). I again thank Jake and the techs for their diligent, and honest, work; And all they did in the face of their teammate actively working against them. Unfortunately, they can only do so much when the bridge has already been burned.

Had them "build" an EJ25 subaru motor for me not long ago. After 3k miles it is burning 1qt every 3k miles, and visibly smokes in boost and on decel. Alex assured me "the motor isn't broken in yet" at 2k miles. Its only gotten worse and I just continue to get run in circles. Don't go here to get an engine "assembled" go somewhere that's actually going to BUILD it and stand behind it. A few dynos and 300 facebook reviews totaling 4.9 stars is very capable of fooling your wallet!

Went in for a basic oil change and got charged for an upgraded one. The guy behind the counter was very rude. He talked down to me really bad he should not be in customer service!!. I will not be returning there again!

I have used Windham Mobile for years, approaching 18 now, and keep coming back. Doug and his crew always do an excellent job working on three separate cars and one pickup over those years. I do my own oil changes and spark plug replacements, but more involved work like surpentine belts, tranny and radiator fluid changes and the occasional real problem with a vehicle, I leave to them knowing the work will be done well and at reasonable, not cheap, but reasonable rates. Sometimes, I ask for the old parts, and when I do, they are there for me to look at and keep if I want. I have never been disappointed. I am writing this review because I need to have my tires changed over to snows for the winter, looked their number up on the internet to give them a call, came across the reviews, and figured I should throw in my two cents. These people are wonderful to work with. They don't cut corners but put my priority - safety - always first. They explain everything clearly and are very detailed and professional with all inspections, maintenance and repairs. Best maintenance shop I have ever been to. Great experience. I'm a single mom with 3 young kids. In the past when I had car problems it was always scary because they saw me coming and marked prices up and cost me money I didn't have. Recently my car was making screeching noises and my friend told me about a place they found called Lowell Automatic Transmission in Lowell. I was petrified to go because I don't have any extra money, but when I pulled in a nice worker showed me where to park and brought me in to the service area. When I explained the noises, they took my car in, without having an appointment. They had a cute waiting room with coffee, water, snacks, tv, wifi, like a dealer has. In just a little while Paul the service manager came to get me. He explained the car had decayed belts that needed replacement. When I asked how much it would cost, he told me No Charge! I was waiting for the 'catch', but there was no catch! This place is different! Not only did they change the belts, Paul told me they checked the fluids and topped them off at no charge too! They treated me like family, just like my friend said they would. Paul is awesome! I'm telling all my friends to go to this place. They didn't take advantage of me. In the future when my car acts up, I'm going there because I know they're fair and treat people with respect.

found this shop doing some online research. Small family run shop with attention to detail and very nice mechanic George. After visiting a few shops in wilmington that had mechanics who didnt seem like they cared about the customer, i found georges shop. Great guy, great work, fair prices!!
