This was my second year for state Inspection. Great service and friendly attitude from the staff. I will most likely use them for other services in the future. I later called back to ask about the new location for stickers, as I was not aware. Not that I doubted them, just wanted to know, and was told they changed the location recently to the left lower side of the windshield.

Check engine light issue was due to bad gas cap ~ because the Tech forgot to turn off or plug something in or back on, the check engine light came back on within 20 miles ~ I was already scheduled the very next day for the fluid flush and rotar replacement, otherwise I'd have to make a special trip to fix the check engine light. Also, I live 8 miles away, would be great if you had loaners or pick up service ~ specially since I spent at least $500. Other than that, I love this place, very professional and spotless clean for any waiting room, let alone a repair shop ! Thank you.

As usual Zak's did great work. The Mercury discount really helps my wallet. I had no idea that you closed at 5pm or I would have came sooner. (My bad) I arrived at 5:20 and the lights were out and doors were locked. Thankfully someone was in the shop and signed me out.

I had dropped about 250 - 400 into car to find issue. My mechanic recommended Zaks after they ran out of ideas of what could be wrong. Zacks diagnosed the problem in less than a day determined that it was a burnt up down pipe gasket. Still waiting to see if car will pass emissions, but I feel confident.

I was recommended to Zaks Auto by a friend of mines that has gotten some APR work done and service on his s6, he was very pleased so I decided to give them a try. I called to make an appointment, Jake was the gentleman to help me out, and he was very professional and easy to work with. When I first got to the shop I was completely shocked about how nice the location and the inside of the shop were (not typical for a garage) . When I walked in I was greeted by Jake, I informed him that I had an appointment, he got me started right away he informed me that they were waiting for an OEM filter to arrive but he told me they will start with the rest of the process. He set my expectations just right, he informed me where the cold beverages and snakes were as I was going to wait there. I also got to meet Zak the owner of the place, very humble guy, we talked about cars. It’s always nice to see a business owner at their own shop making sure everyone is satisfied. As I said before it IS the nicest Shop I have every entered even better than the service departments at the dealerships. The price was just right as well, they did the complimentary walk around the vehicle, they informed me what was needed right away and what can wait. Booked an appointment over the phone on Wednesday and got an appointment on Friday. Had an ECU Tune installed and it took about 45 minutes. Waited comfortably in their waiting area which they provided refreshments, TV, and even wifi. They answered any questions I had and walked me through how to use it. Very good experience. Very professional service that caters to the customer. The inspection was very thorough, fair and honest. I generally do all my own repairs however no longer have the time. I was so impressed by the technicians, managing staff and even managed to meet the owner I got a real sense of a trusting business. I am bringing the truck back for service.

Came in without an appointment with a sensor issue

I came in after several sensor lights came up on my Subaru. I spoke with Kevin who processed the paperwork quickly and efficiently; the technician took a look and found that a wire had not been re-attached after a repair by the local Subaru dealership. Jayson gave me the good news, and had me back on the road in no time. I was so happy with the service that I plan to schedule a tune-up and other miscellaneous work to be completed soon. Needless to say, Subaru of Keene will no longer be servicing my car and Zak's WILL. Thanks to all!

I found Zak's Auto while looking for a place to do the suspension on my truck. They are now my go-to shop for any services I need. Everyone is friendly and fair, I never felt like I was paying for more than I needed. I recommend them to anyone I know who needs service.
