Transmission repair service near Collingswood, NJ

Do NOT use this shop. I had my Altima in for a shifting issue. After $1200 ($500 in Labor) I got it back with MORE ISSUES. I picked my car up and it not only had the Check Engine Light on - which was NEW, but it was drivable when I went back about a week later after the work to mention a newly developed problem. After less than a 5 mins drive Dominic comes back telling me I need a whole new transmission. I ask how they originally got to the diagnosis - Dominic very soon was telling me to "Take him to court" - I hadn't even asked for ANY refund yet! All I wanted was a correct diagnosis. Very quick and expensive, thoughtless work. They are a "Parts Changer" not a mechanic.

Best shop ever. Great workers and amazing service. They picked me up, towed my car and helped me get a rental.

Went in on 5/16/2012 for a simpe oil change and filter. First time customer and the reason I selected them was through a great groupon discount deal. Well, the 'technician' Pat (? not sure if I have the name correctly) proceeded to lift the car with 4 separate hydraulic lifts in a manual fashion - no 'mathematical' method of lining it up correctly just throw them under the car. Well, the lifts were position wrong and all 4 lifts damaged their respective poitns around the underbody frame. All dented. The technician said they would pop out. bottom line: I got over $600 dollars in damage and my insurance company is still fighting them for the money! (They don't claim anything of course - complete liars) STAY AWAY!

Terrible service, overpriced. Up charge for parts and at least $100 more for labor than other places in the area. Avoid at all costs

If I could rate 0 stars I would. The place is a rip off. Stay away. The owner bought it out a few years ago after he ran his other business Transco transmissions in Hatboro. I brought my car to have my transmission rebuilt with out knowing it was not owned by Bill Holt anymore. They did not rebuild my transmission correctly and I had to bring my car back 5 times in the course of a year because the tranny kept slipping. Each time they claimed it was something new altogether and not covered by the warranty. I was with out my car for weeks after each visit. One time my car broke down in the mountains and I had to pay $500 to have it towed to their shop after they refused to pick it up. The owner (who works on the transmissions) is never their and never returns your call. You have to deal with manager who has no real decision authority. They have an F with BBB for obvious reasons. I have never been so unsatisfied as a customer and I wouldn't wish the same frustration on anyone

I made an appointment for a groupon I had purchased. It included an oil change, tire rotation, brake and wheel alignment check, plus a hand car wash. I was informed my alignment was off, so I purchased the wheel alignment. My tire rotation couldn t be completed because I didn t have my wheel lock key, my fault. It took them TWO hours to complete an oil change and wheel alignment for a scheduled appointment! Entirely too long! They didn t even hand wash my car. Who knows what else they didn t complete. They didn t leave any desire for me to return. It was a #$%$ poor job accompanied with an underwhelming sales associate. Unacceptable. Non-existent customer service. Will never return. DO NOT trust them, Do Not go there!
