Engine repair service near Dover, NJ

Brought my car in for service, it was in the shop for two days to replace front struts and some other work. When I drove the car home, I noticed the wheel alignment was off. The alignment wasn't included in the final estimate. I called the shop and they said I could come back in first thing in the morning. Went back the next day and they put the car right up on the lift, did the wheel alignment, and didn't charge me! I was ok with paying for it, and was just happy they took me right in with no wait. I usually wouldnt even take the time to write a review but the audacity of this moron manager got me inspired. Basically, my power steering pump had a slow leak and was almost empty when my truck started making a horrific squeel coming down route 1 when i saw this sears car center. I stopped in distressed about my situation and asked the manager if they sold power steering fluid and told him about my predicament. He replied by telling me they did not and he couldnt help me. All he could do was take advantage of my problem and offer a song and a dance for a $55 service to get some power steering fluid. So I went to Pepboys and bought my own for $7. Its a shame to have to experience how someone will take advantage of you when your down. Needless to say, Ill never go there again or recommend anyone else do.

Right when I thought this was a reputable shop. This is absolutely the worst shop/junkyard you can go to. Had Mazin and Pete rebuild my engine on my 2013 X5 and literally 8 days later, it goes bad and their excuse is”oil cooler”. I will get every penny back and I will make sure everyone knows about the scam operation you are running there. Mazen and Pete, Karma will bite you back and I’ll see you in court. I will not let this pass. What a scamming shop that doesn’t stand behind their work or anything they do. If you don’t believe me, look at all the reviews engine rebuild reviews. These guys don’t know what they are doing nor what they are talking about. Unfortunately for you, you messed around with he wrong guy.

HERE IS A TRUE HONEST REVIEW...IF YOU DON'T WANT A HEADACHE.....DO NOT GO HERE. FIRST, I NOTICED WHEN I WENT THERE IN THE PAST EVERYONE IS CHARGED THE SAME PRICE. I HEARD TWO CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF ME CHARGED $375.00 FOR A MUFFLER AND PIPE. HOW COULD THREE DIFFERENT CARS BE THE SAME PRICE. HERE IS WHAT GOT ME....THE OWNER ASKED ME TO PAY CASH FOR THE $375.00 PRICE OTHERWISE IT WOULD BE HIGHER AND TAX ON TOP OF THAT. I WAS STILL OFFERED THE LIFETIME WARRANTY EVEN IF PAID CASH. ANYWAY, THE MUFFLER INSTALLED FROM DAY ONE HAD INTERNAL VIBRATION. I WENT BACK SEVERAL TIMES...HE TOLD ME IT WAS THE MOTOR MOUNTS....THEN HE SAID IT WAS THE RIM.....THEN HE JUST SAID THE CAR WAS OLD. (WHAT GREAT ANSWERS) I WENT THERE OVER THREE TIMES AND THEY COULDN'T FIX IT. i WENT TO A LOCAL MECHANIC AND HE SAID IT WAS THE MUFFLER. I WENT BACK TO MEINEKE AND HE SAID WHERE IS THE RECEIPT, AND I TOLD HIM YOU KNOW YOU ASKED ME TO PAY CASH. ANYWAY, HE OFFERED TO FIX FOR $250.00....REALLY IS THAT FAIR, BEWARE ALL
