I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. What an outstanding, ideal, model mechanic and business! After much research and speaking with several mechanics and repair techs, I found Walko Automotive to be the best solution to my bad hybrid battery. Walko Automotive helped replace my 2007 Toyota Prius battery in less than 2 hrs for THE MOST reasonable price. They offered a two year warranty and with their already outstanding business history, Master Tech certifications with hybrid vehicles (and any vehicle really), and a positive, family-oriented atmosphere, they were sure to deliver in every way you would expect the best and most trustworthy mechanic should. Please be careful here, they will cheat you on inspection prices. Please make sure they print out the inspection report from the inspection machine, so you can check for the consistency of the price you were charged vs what the report says the charge is.

Mullaney Tire & Car Care Center This place is super shady owner lied to me about work he did on my car. It was there two weeks and didnt move from spot I left it! He lies and manipulates your time. DO NOT believe positive reviews the owner is rude and lies. DO NOT GO HERE
