After a while, I received call from them and they told me on the phone that tire has a valve leakage and repair cost will be $12.99 plus labor. The person mentioned that my backlight is also gone and the filter needs to be replaced for which I specifically mentioned that I'll take a look once I'm there. When I reached there, they charged me for both tire and backlight which I didn't ask for and when I reminded that I never agreed to fix the backlight - he started shouting, used curse words and was almost on the verge of making racist remarks. I just don't understand how can such a person run any business. Anyways, I'm done with this store forever.

A rarity especially in Hunts Point. My mechanic retired after 25 years with him and I've been looking for a place I can trust to take my car for anything I may need. I hope I found the place. Please be careful here, they will cheat you on inspection prices. Please make sure they print out the inspection report from the inspection machine, so you can check for the consistency of the price you were charged vs what the report says the charge is.

I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands.
