AAMCO Transmission

1.0(1)
950 Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark

Hi everyone, I do humbly urge each and everyone not to go to AAMCO TRANSMISSION located at 950 Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark, NJ 07114. They just reap people off. The loose ur transmission and tell u whatever they want u to hear. For instance, the Torque converter that cost less that $200 for my car they said is $1600, and lots of other parts they listed. At the end of the day, u end up paying them more than the cost of a new transmission from the dealer. For average cars, they make u spend roughly $4,000 just for rebuilding ur transmission, and give u a 1 year warranty or 12,000 miles which ever comes first. After one of these, the same problem again started developing. My case is less than a year even. When I came back, they said I have to pay for the parts and they will take care of the labor. I look at the good Samaritans that pay for a shop and workers and yet work for free. While I was there, I saw many people coming in, yelling for the reap off. One even called a cop to take a statement on what has happened between him and AAMCO. I advice all not to visit here. Thanks
