I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. I would stay away from this service center at all costs. Not only does the manager take less than educated guesses at what he thinks may be wrong with your vehicle but does repairs (I will say repair, but that never takes place), bills you for it and then decides that your vehicle needs other repairs after you come back within days, complaining of the original problem. They tape wires under the hood with electrical tape, short fill you on oil changes by quarts, and making matters worse, they are extremely disrespectful. Please, if you believe you have a major repair to your car, go to the dealer; the work is guaranteed the staff is trained on your vehicle they do not do any work they didn't quote for you and, most importantly, will find out exactly what is needed without replacing everything under the hood and beyond Quality Automotive does not live up to the name and the place is very questionable and untrustworty.

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. charged for repairs they did not complete, lft with damages and the "GUranty" isn't worth the paper it's written on. Shoddy, dishonest.

Family owned/operated business, very friendly people makes you feel at home, they don't try to push stuff on you will give the recommended work, good pricing, will drop and pick you up if you live close by which I think is really nice of them. They are very knowledgeable of the work they do. totally recommend them.
