I just want to say thank you, It's been a long time since i have felt good after having my car repaired, my farther was a diehard sears customer until they screwed up his car, we then started going to pepboy's, not much better, my neighbor said go to mavis, wow what a mistake, i was buying tires the next thing i knew they wanted to sell me brakes front and rear, i told them they were just replaced 8 months ago, then they said my struts were no good and that i needed a bunch of services, i was lucky to get out alive. A co worker sent me to roadside tire, they did the right thing on my car so i went back a couple months later with my wife's car and they took care of me again, its like i am a family member it's really great. that's why i am writing this review i hope it helps some one.

I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. Until Car Doctors moved into the neighborhood, I ALWAYS regarded car mechanics with a deep sense of dread and skepticism. Dee Knight is the definition of excellent customer service, and his personable crew of employees are the direct opposite of the duplicitious car mechanic stereotype. I absolutely love JC. They've provided consistent, reliable service for my car since I moved to the area. They have saved me tons of money- typically in situations where my dealership tries to upsell an unnecessary service not warranty covered. Recently, they looked at a used dealer car I was interested in buying- and found a few potentially costly issues with the vehicle, that were then taken care of by the dealer.
