We have a 2011 Nissan that was acting funny. It wasnt shifting smoothly. We took it to a couple of local places but they told us that a dealer would be best because they had equipment to diagnose later model cars that were only available to dealers. I was really hesitant. We were new to the area and always stayed away from dealers because they usually charge more. We looked on line and found a local dealer, Baron Nissan, that had good reviews. None of those reviews were for service but what we could find said really good things about their sales department so we had the car towed there and crossed our fingers. We met Frank the service manager who was very nice. He asked what the car was doing and we told him/. We left it there overnight and he said he would call us the next day. He called about 11am on Friday and said the car was done. A little surpised that it was done so quickly I asked if they had found the problem. He said it was just a control module that had to be reset, no big deal. The way the other mechanics had made it sound we were braced for a huge repair bill. When we went to pick it up they told us that they had checked and our car was still under the Nissan powertrain warranty ( which we had no idea about) and the bill was nothing, no money at all. They told us they checked the car and we needed front brakes and an oil change ( which I knew). They gave me a fair price and we had them do the work. Frank didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need or want and they did the brakes and oil change while we waited. Has a chance to talk to Frank while we waited, he was just a nice guy who welcomed us to the neighborhood. We have bought a lot of cars in our life, definately not my first rodeo and I never,ever went back to a dealer for service as a rule they are too busy, pushy and over priced. I gotta say Frank at Baron Nissan is the exception. We are so glad we found them

15 years go I found Sonny's shop in Nassau with a parking lot full of Porsches. I was very glad to find such an honest and dependable mechanic, especially since servicing these cars is usually expensive. He has always done the right thing for me, and is reasonably priced considering his skill level and the cars he works on. I went away for a few years to go to school, get married, and have kids, and was very pleased to see him still in business! Took my car in for four new tires. Was told an hour. Over two and a half hours later, paid and headed home. On reviewing the work in the daylight, no caps were installed on three of the new valves. I couldn't tell if there was a cap on the fourth valve because they had hammered on the hubcap over it....... On further inspection I found that all of the wheel balance weights had been left only partially tapped on, and that they had up to four weights in the space of only eight inches or less along the rim. It looked as though they just kept adding them on. Took the car there and they said they'd put on valve caps and re-balance the tires. The desk guy came over in the middle of the redo and said very happily"the balance was only a little off". Okay, well that means that it was off, right???? I leave the place again in the dark and reinspect the van the next day in the light. Two caps on the tire valves fit, and two other caps that were too small were jammed just on the tips of the other two new valves???? The new tire weights were also not fully installed and masses of them clumped around the rims. I think this place just wants to wear you down so you get sick of going back complaining. I mean really, Two trips and they can't even put caps on the new tire valves??????? This place is awful. Two other customers there complaining in the two times I was there. Stay away, they're clueless and hope you are as well.

They are amazing mechanics. I don't think anyone can ever match their experience. They hear one awkward sound from my car and they automatically know what is wrong with it without even opening it yet. And it's all done at reasonable price as well. Ask for Albert. He's the best.

Best experience ever. Perfect body work and sensor replacements after an accident. The electronics behave perfectly. Most important of all, no surprise expenses, no hustle. Everyone is super friendly there (thank you Stacy) and Frank is amazing. Thank you!
