I BROUGHT MY TRUCK TO PICAS AUTOMOTIVE IT WAS A PLEASURE DEALING DIRECTLEY WITH THE OWNER.HE SHOWED ME WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND FIXED IT IMMEDIATELY WHEN I TOLD HIM I NEEDED IT FOR WORK.I ASKED HIM TO CHECK MY BRAKES TO SEE IF THEY NEEDED TO BE REPACED HE TOLD ME I STILL HAD 40% LEFT ON THEM I WAS SURPRISED BECAUSE FIRESTONE TOLD ME THEY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, THATS THE DIFFERANCE BETWEEN A CORPORATE SHOP AND A PRIVATELY OWNED SHOP.THIS IS WHAT THEY CALL OLD SCHOOL IM GLAD THERE IS STILL AN AUTO SHOP LIKE PICAS. I WILL DEFINANTLY BE GOING TO PICAS IN THE FUTURE FOR ALL MY MECHANICAL PROBLEMS... THANKS AGAIN PICAS!!!!

Rich and his team are highly professional! I Had him do a safety check over my entire vehicle before a road trip. He gave me a thorough list of my vehicles issues and never pressured me into doing any work. We worked through what was important to keep the car going and what could wait for a later date. He has a very clean shop filled with friendly faces that remembered me by name after only meeting once, and most importantly gave a speedy repair that was affordable to keep a young college student on the road! I VISITED VALVOLINE IN WESTBURY, NY AND I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE THAT DAY. THE GUY CALLED AND INFORMED ME THAT I NEEDED BREAK LIGHTS, AND MORE WHEN I REFUSE HIS REQUEST TO CHANGE TO BREAK LIGHTS. I TOLD HIM JUST DO THE OIL CHANGE. HE TOLD ME HE DID NOT CARRY THE OIL NEEDED TO DO THE OIL CHANGE IN MY CAR. I SENSE HE WAS LYING TO ME AND I DIDNT WANT TO ARGUE. I JUST TOOK MY CAR AND LEFT AND WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY OF THEM. A HUGE COMPANY LIKE THIS CARRY OIL OR THEY WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS.THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND SCAMMER. PLEASE PEOPLE DONT VISIT THOSE SCAMMER AT VALVOLINE IN WESTBURY. THEY WORK AS A TEAM.

15 years go I found Sonny's shop in Nassau with a parking lot full of Porsches. I was very glad to find such an honest and dependable mechanic, especially since servicing these cars is usually expensive. He has always done the right thing for me, and is reasonably priced considering his skill level and the cars he works on. I went away for a few years to go to school, get married, and have kids, and was very pleased to see him still in business! He's got my car right now, and I'm excited to get it back once he gets it straight again. I would trust him with anything that moves.
