I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. Joe, Anthony and Roger and the staff are the best. They talk to you like a person. I've been to many shops over the years and these guys are knowledgeable, experts , fair, patient, trustworthy and best of all treat you with the utmost respect and tell you exactly what's going on with your car in a way that you understand fully. Amazing customer service, I was attended to immediately they are kind and curtious professional Mechanics who are dedicated to there customers. I had great experiences every time I went. Just pulled in to ask about a service for my vehicle. Great news, the staff is all well fed. They were all sitting around in the break room just behind the front counter. I walked in, said hi and waited for a reply. The men - about 5 - just kept shoveling food into their mouths and stared at me. Odd, so I waited a moment. Then asked if there is anyone who can help me. They all - and I mean ALL - averted their eyes and went for another forkful. "Soooooo, should I just wait guys?" Another forkful. "Should I just go then," I asked. Finally got an answer. One guy took the time between stuffing his face to shrug at me. I laughed and left. Great place. Can't wait for the failures who run it like this to sell it to someone who might care. I certainly wouldn't want people with that level of pride or care working on my car. So many options with people who don't suck. Go elsewhere. Life its too short to wait for lunch break to end for basic human respect.

Right when I thought this was a reputable shop. This is absolutely the worst shop/junkyard you can go to. Had Mazin and Pete rebuild my engine on my 2013 X5 and literally 8 days later, it goes bad and their excuse is”oil cooler”. I will get every penny back and I will make sure everyone knows about the scam operation you are running there. Mazen and Pete, Karma will bite you back and I’ll see you in court. I will not let this pass. What a scamming shop that doesn’t stand behind their work or anything they do. If you don’t believe me, look at all the reviews engine rebuild reviews. These guys don’t know what they are doing nor what they are talking about. Unfortunately for you, you messed around with he wrong guy.

I absolutely love JC. They've provided consistent, reliable service for my car since I moved to the area. They have saved me tons of money- typically in situations where my dealership tries to upsell an unnecessary service not warranty covered. Recently, they looked at a used dealer car I was interested in buying- and found a few potentially costly issues with the vehicle, that were then taken care of by the dealer. They wouldn't take a cent from me for their time. Don't hesitate to use this wonderful, family run auto service.

I moved to NJ after living in WI for 34 years leaving behind my go-to mechanic (since I was legal on the road) that I could trust with any car/truck problem. It took about 3+ years to find a guy like John and the group of guys that I can trust at Car Kings. It's convenient that I work in Clifton so he is a few minutes away. I have been there about a 1/2 dozen times and he always finds a way to sneak me in. Work always get's done in a timely and professional manner. Just watch out for Teddy the office dog! ;)
