Oil change service near Ithaca, NY

I live in Boston but my son is at Cornell with his 2000 Saab. I have been extremely pleased with Pellegrinos. They have ensured that my son is safe and his car reliable. Rose and Nick are efficient, convenient & reasonably priced. I will miss them when my son graduates next week!

These guys just replace things one by one, charging you as they go, until they get it right--or not! $784.87 (replace struts) didn't fix the problem I specifically brought it in for, "a vibration at 60mph," so I brought it back a month later after being promised on the phone, "We'll make it right for you." This time I was charged another $103.98 (replace tie rod) only to drive away with a car that still vibrated (I even took the Asst. Mgr. for a ride so we could share the experience together.) So they refund me the $103.98, they say I need a new steering rack, and they'll do it at the discounted price of another $500. It didn't make sense to me that a steering rack could cause vibration, and when the manager sensed that I wasn't going to play this game anymore he became mean and told me to go somewhere else. So I went somewhere else--Google--where I learned that vibration can be caused by bad brake rotors. I spent $71.26 at a parts store for two new rotors and after a couple hours under the car I was driving around at 60mph with no vibration! It cost me $784.87--and if I hadn't smartened up in time over $1284.87 (because the new steering rack wouldn't have fixed it either)--to learn "Ithaca Midas is a money pit!"

The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose the power steering problem within minutes. The diagnostic was free and they even topped off my power steering fluid for free! If I run into any more problems I know they are a reliable source for auto service!

Everything they do stays done! Never had them fix the same thing twice. Easy to get an appointment. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I have been going there for many years and quality of work is consistently high. They keep up to date on new models and new technology, and will tell you if there's a problem, or if you need to take a car to the dealership for a covered repair.

Ron has worked there many years and I just return from there having an Inspection on my 2006 Trailblazer, How great it was to see Ron's smile even in all the confusion of people talking, the phone ringing off the wall, Ron was very pleasant, fair and told me issues that I might have to have address in the future if i was going to keep my Trailblazer for years to come. I stopped going only because having a Warranty on this vehicle , and on that note, I didn't even go back to finish this because of knowing Monro Outstanding Staff.Most shop's never keep the same person, or people for a period time, there just move on, I very Happy that Monro has been able to hold onto Ron for as along that they have, He & his staff be seeing my trailblazer for everything.
